I missed it. Pout pout ! She has such a beautiful voice - I agree.

I'm curious though - Was she a stiff performer? Everytime I've seen her perform she has been so stiff she almost looked like a statue. I was hoping she would loosen up after being in the spot light now for sometime. How'd she look?

I sure did!  I rewound it (if that's a term you can use for a DVR) and made sure Richard saw it...  I don't know if she was joking or not, I got the feeling that she wasn't joking.

Carrie Underwood is a great singer!  She did seem a little stiff or uncomfortable in her movements when she performed but she was in 3 foot high heels in a mini dress up on that round thing...  Previously I've only seen her perform the songs from her album twice and you're right, sort of stiff..  Great voice though and she's from Oklahoma!!

I didn't catch the entire show.. but.. I thought Faith's performance was lacking as well..  there are sometimes on those shows that it seems she's not quite up to par..

yeah it's nice to see Carrie making a name for herself.

I personally thought Faith Hill's new song sucked!

I really enjoyed all the performances on that show... but hers... I think with a higher voiced singer, that song would go over well.

And yeah, she got snubbed, and I laughed my butt off at her reaction.

I also didn't like the ending of "Ex-Girlfriend"... I'm a little baffled how they can call that "country"...  and the thought of her slamming that expensive mic in the floor... oy!

How could anyone NOT see that !!! Priceless !!!! I like Faith Hill too but being honest Carrie brought it last year !!

Dang it, I missed it all. I NEVER miss the CMA's. But, blame it on one of my famous migraines that kept me in bed 99% of yesterday.  :(

Good for Carrie Underwood, she deserved it. She is SO awesome, she has a gorgeous voice, and awesome range.... she's so flawless in her higher range, that well, I just hate her.  LMAO  (nah, kidding) I love her cd, she's just awesome. That's one good thing that came out of all those AI shows, IMO, is her.

And Faith Hill? Good lord, I'd have paid a pretty penny to see that. She too is a great singer, I liked her in her early years.... but she has gotten WAY too big of a swelled head. She always looks so aloof...... like she's cold and untouchable, like she thinks she's above everyone. That kinda stuff can turn me off of a singer really quickly. Pray god Gretchen never gets that way:) Cause I realllllyyyyy like her. Sorry I missed those last night, but, I was out of it.... Maybe someone I know will have taped it. (though, usually it's me who does for THEM)

I just thought her song was a bit depressing for the CMA awards but she delivered in true FH style !!



Not the ending but I loved one particular line in that song that said something about jail & a hammer & a nail but cant remember exactly what she said I laughed out loud when I heard that !! That was a typical redneck girl line !!

Yeah, right.... she was "trying to be funny". She's one of those who think money and fame are everything, I feel sorry for Tim & the little tantrum he must have put up with that night at home:) That was all too real, you can see it in her face so clearly where they replayed that part in slo-mo.
