Tonight was a perfect example.     15-20% of the crowd I have seen before.     80% I never saw and many of them I hope I never see again.    :O

I can always tell when the moon is full.    Even the bartender could tell tonight.

The place filled up, then it got half empty, then filled up.    Emptied earlier than normal.   I had 5 different singers put songs in and when I went to give them the microphone they were MIA.    That's really unusual.

Had some hobo looking nut case park himself right in front of my table.    Looked pretty scary.   :O   Long greasy straggly hair, dancing around like a nut.     He kept the tables near him empty.

Some guy was heckling one of the singers.

There were no fights surprisingly.  Everyone was dancing and singing and having fun, it was just a weird crowd.

Broke Todd from Dallas' karaoke cherry.    He gave me a $20 tip.  For all the fun.   They are in town for the big football game.     Said he flew his family up and had 50 yardline tickets.   He must be rolling in some cash.   LMAO

I try to aviod going to karaoke just after pay day. The crowds avrage age drop. They are most those with strange colored hair and dragon tatoo on the arms.
I wait for the next week, they will be less of them.

You told him there is a VERY active karaoke community in his neck of the woods, didn't you? Or am I going to have to make you use cheap mics and inferior CDGs as punishment?

Well the home team lost again today.    That killed the crowd.     Had 20 people total tonight.     The full moon and the first of the month paydays couldn't resurrect the devastation of the football game.   These "FANATICS" SUCK.   Kill everyones business because the team, that will never send you a check because they won, lost.    Everyone is home licking their nuts, like a whipped dog.     It sickens me that everyones income is so tied to the outcome of a stupid game.

Grow up people.   Worry about your family or your health or your neighborhood that much and we would have no problems at all.      :O

Sigh. You doofus. If they only worry about family, health and neighborhood they ain't gonna be singing at your show, either. If it is okay for you to get irked by bad shows (and do NOT kid yourself that it does not get to you), then it is okay for them to not want to party if the home team loses.

I would like to see you in a roomful of people that are just like you. Love ya sweetie, but chill out, will ya?

We have a fight at my bar about every 2-3 months and it ALWAYS seems to be on the night of the full moon.

I did some research, and apparently there is a coorelation between full moons and about a 20% rise in the rate of aggrevated assault and the overall crime rate on full moon nights over the last 20 years. However, there is no scientific reason for this that they can find, and it has been written off as a statisical anomoly.

The site I read also referenced that they also found out that about 20% more books are checked out of libraries on the days following NBA games where the teams score over 100 points. Their point was that it is possible to have such a statistical anomoly where it looks like there is a coorelation, but the two things certainly have nothing to do with each other.

I, however, have seen it first hand and think there must be something to it!!

Where do you think the word "LUNATIC" came from?     LUNA (MOON) LUNAR

The old timers figured it out a long ago.     The moon makes crazy people act more insane.    FACT, not fiction.    :O

Even in my country.

I would love to entertain a room full of people like me every night.

There would be no fighting.

No acting like a nut.

No drinking to see how fast I could get wasted.

No hitting on your wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend.

No boo hooing because my team that never pays me any money, lost.   Who cares.   I pray they never make it to the playoffs.    Everytime they lose many thousands, if not millions of business dollars are lost.    People don't spend money laying on the couch crying, like babies.     If they win and make the playoffs, it interupts my KJ making money and interupts the singers fun.    Now we have to cater to a small group of fanatics and ignore the steady karaoke crowd.

No complaining about the rotation.

No equipment abuse.

No dance/filler music.

No singing contests.

Everyone would get along and have fun together with no hassles.

Yes, I guess that would be a horrible karaoke night.      :O
