Long post(s) warning………….

Chuck,
Eric the KJ was very generous at first!! Fortunately he had several great people to help with the tweaking – hopefully ya’ll can do that with us when you come up! I’m still in awe of his higher range – it was the last thing I thought I’d hear from him!
Thank you so much for coming out that night, I understand your loathing of the traffic there…
BTW, your picture does not do you justice. I’m not sure I would recognize you from it. Especially when you sang “Symphony Of Destruction” and rolled up your sleeves (great guns BTW) and your eyes glowed red. Richard tried to get a pic of that for me with the camera phone for proof but no flash so I’m not sure how it turned out…
I can’t believe I left our brand new camera in the room, I was just so excited to meet you guys!

Gigi,
We had such a great time too! We are definitely coming back and want to bring some friends with us – we can tell they would love you all!
I think it’s so cool that we sing some of the same songs! Especially “Brand New Key” as I’ve never heard anyone else sing it! Next time we get together you’ll have to sing it so I can see how it sounds!
I wish the others could have made it, maybe next time… We’ve met Atxklown in person, I understand he’s in OK this weekend so our KJ Amy probably got to meet him either in the store or at The Store Club… He’s a great guy!
I’ve already told Eben that he’s in for a treat! Have a safe and fun trip!

Sharon,
Thank you so much for arranging everything! I’m so glad everyone decided to go to your hang-out! What a blast!
As to our singing – you are so kind… Everyone was soo great!! I was wowed by your transition from your sweet, clear voice to “Enter Sandman”!! It was like two different people!! It’s amazing what drinking and smoking can do to alter your persona… errr, I mean voice (yeah, that’s it, voice)
Soooo glad I could get you “lit”! ;)
We just saw the pictures – great job, especially for a camera phone with no flash! I still can’t believe I left the new camera in the room – tsk, tsk, tsk…..

Rich,
Great name BTW – I’ve always been partial to it!! Well for 26+ years anyway....
Drinks? Who said anything about drinks!?!!!??! I’m a tea drinker myself! :beermates:
I haven’t laughed like that in a loooong time! What a great time! Our family asked about ya’ll and regretted not coming out with us, wedding and all, don’t ya know!
As for “apparel” items – they sure have ended up in a lot of strange places – heck, I’ve heard they are great for backyard games like horseshoes and ring toss…. Not that I’ve ever tried…. ;)
Thanks for mentioning sis’s wedding… The only way it could have been better is to have been longer! Our two nieces (sis’s daughters) and our new niece (groom’s daughter) got up to sing – so did our eldest niece’s boyfriend! My sister’s youngest daughter (9 years old) shocked the heck out of us – the last we knew she liked Hilary Duff – she sang “Baby Girl” with me (then oldest niece and newest niece joined in)…I guess it’s true – being shy and introverted does run in the family! Much like your daughter’s wallflower tendencies!
I sure hope you do get up to see us – let us know which night in advance and we’ll have a friend run the show so we can party (not that we can’t party while we “work”)… As a matter of fact we may ask you to “tweak” us a little too… Hey now! I’m talking about the amp…. Geez!

Chuck,
Who monolopized what? Richard had a blast!!
I’m going to your myspace – Of all people I could use some mic techniques…

Ellen,
I agree with you about the funniest moment! I loved the Karaoke Scene’s Boys Choir!
How could I resist with the dollar bill?!?! All that singing and dancing – on one stage!!
Thank you sooo much for coming out – hopefully you’ll be there the next time we are!!!

Bill,
OMG – Am I embarrassed!!
I thought you were referring to a street or hotel! Oops!
Richard would love to be a storm-chaser but I’ve asked him to refrain… He did go to a one night class on storm spotting though…. When the last tornado that came through here (just missed our store but took out part of 12th street and took out our dtr-in-law’s grandma’s house) Richard was right behind it on I-44 between Chickasha and Moore and followed it in to Moore. I kept asking him to pull over (I was sitting in the hallway with our puppies and a bunch of pillows) and don’t ya know, he kept going!
The one that came through in ’99 just missed our pregnant dtr-in-law… We were in Midwest City/Del Cit but made it home (at that time the Village).. That year they were going in every direction.. Richard made trips into the affected areas with his pickup taking in supplies for the rescuers, I was in the gymnasium of a high school turned relief supplies. The tornado victims came in for food, clothing, furniture, etc… Both experiences were very humbling and we met some incredible people, victims and rescuers alike…
I’m sure Richard would love to hear some of your stories as he has respected my wish that he not chase storms…

Thanks again ya’ll for meeting us at your favorite karaoke spot, as you can tell, we are still pumped…
