i know i don't normally post over here, but for the first time in about 6 months i had time to check out a few subs.  far as i recall i checked out kelley, charmin, michael j, can't stop singing, and johnny echo.  i'm SURE i listened to some others, but i don't remember who.  

anyway, the jist of this topic is to let y'all know i did leave comments for each of you, but  guess i didn't do it correctly.  i thought all of the subs were great and i especially liked hearing johnny's voice for the first time.  michael j was awesome and not at all what i expected!  charmin knocked the subs out as well and kelley...well, ya'll have heard her and you already know she's got game!  you have my word it won't take another six months to be back!

I haven't been on listening too much lately, but I caught a few listens yesterday.

Anyhow, just saw this, so I wanted to say thanks... for including me in your listens.

I guess I'll be spending some more time in the showcase tomorrow. I kinda got "grounded" in the forums.  :shock:  I don't know for how long... but we'll see.  Could be days, could be weeks. If only I could behave.

there are a few that are complaining that they leave comments and nothing appears, plus there are ghost comments where the program says there are comments unacknowleged and yet none appear. Maybe admin could check it out??? I know that someone has emailed and the response they got was it was impossible it couldnt happen. well, Mav, Don Jansen, Bobz and Dofa all have had it happen. I could have sworn a couple of times I had commented and then found I hadnt...but that just might be the fact that I was born in 8th century and am getting forgetful.

I think the ghost comments, where it says that new comments are there, but you don't see any, could be that someone has editted something in their comment so it reads like a new one. if you have already replied then it will continue to read as new comment, but if you haven't  replied yet then it will be just like it's all good.

I've had stuff like that happen.

A few times, I've gotten someone else's comment entirely.

(like..... "Hey, Steve, your rockin' out here man, love this Lynyrd Skynyrd song")

Meanwhile...

It's a Loretta Lynn, and.... my names not Steve... and I hope nobody thinks I'm a man:)

(that was just an example, not a literal statement)

I've also gotten that thing on my profile page where it says like "20 comments... 1 new"..... and I'll have 19, all replied to. And I sit there scratching my head thinking "what the hell?". And I go over the comments carefully, thinking I've missed one... but I haven't.

I just ignore those... they go 'way sooner or later:)

Ya see, the showcase can be kinda freaky too, just like black cats running out in front of your truck:)

Im soo sorry !! Ive not been to the singers forum in forever !!! I JUST read this post & wanted to thank you Steven !! What a kool comment you made about me!! I got a real kick out of it !! Well Steve I really hope work let's up soon so you can start recording again...I still have your Pop A Top sub saved on my hard drive...one of the absolute BEST country subs I have ever heard on SS...totally pro quality.
