LOL...the MENSA site had some very un-PC terms for the lower IQs.

80-90 was classified as DULL
70-80 was classified as BORDERLINE DEFICIENT
60-70 was classified as DEFECTIVE
50-60 was classified as MORON
20-50 was classified as IMBECILE
0-20   was classified as IDIOT/PROFOUND MENTAL RETARDATION

So, according to the BigDog's IQ assessment of himself, he is either a borderline MORON/IMBECILE human, or a genius CANINE who is able to both run a karaoke show with his paws AND lick his own groin.

Well I say it can't be done. What's the one thing that separates us from most animals, it's called a thumb. I say a dog would be hard pressed to run a show of any kind without use of a thumb. They couldn't load a disc, couldn't properly operate a mouse without great difficulty, would have an extremely hard time turning pages in a song book, would never be able to load and unload it's own equipment, would never be able to make adjustments on a mixing board. Using a mic would be almost next to impossible. While the ability to lick oneself may prove to be momentarily entertaining, it would only cause jealousy among most of the male members of the audience and could possibly result in low turnout. But on the positive side, the bar owners would be very happy, since the show would only cost them a few treats as payment. But since most states prohibit animals in bars/restaurants, I'm afraid this sort of novelty would be short lived and soon be out of work. So whether Canine Genius our not, a dog is still a dog and I just don't see it happening. Now if you toss a monkey into the mix, you might have something. ;)
Of course I'm just teasin about all this and mean no insult to the monkey. LMAO
Okay I'll stop now.
I just find it amusing that we've somehow become so preoccupied with something and someone that apparently doesn't exist to some folks. Imagine if all this energy were put to something worthwhile, but then again it wouldn't be as nearly much fun to read. Ironic that the post started out on the subject of intelligence and look where it's gone, hmmmmmmm.

LMMFAO!! :newlol: If my sense of humor had a rating, it'd be a freakin' 200!! :newlol:
Unfortunately, for the real topic here, I have no idea, I'm probably dumber than a box of rocks. I had no real aspirations as a youngster, and no kind of solid role model to push me into an optimistic approach towards the future, thus, I became the lowly slave that I am today...knowing just enough to survive...without any real talent to speak of when it comes to making money.
Yes, it's all about money with me. And if I'd have had my head screwed on tight enough from the beginning, I'd know that education and a nice wall mounted certificate = $$$$$$$.
In today's society, you don't need common sense to be a success, just a piece of paper that acknowledges that a few peers say that you are success minded enough...so open up the door for this dude. If it turns out later that he's a real schmuck, don't blame us!! Maybe he copied his test answers from his smarter frat bros? :newlol:
And it amazes me how so many kids nowadays are so unwilling to make an honest buck from doing the same lowly work that probably 70% of the average Americans are doing day in and day out just to survive, because they are attending college working towards a master's degree or whatever. I hear it all day long.
Geez, am I on a rant here? Do I sound bitter? I'm trying not to be. I could've changed my life course years ago, but I didn't, my bad. Somehow, I just don't think I'm cut out to be a professional type, so that's why I'm just another cog in the belt as many are who keep this country alive. Now the real thinkers with the power to say yea or nay obviously play an important role in this process (keeping this country afloat), but sometimes you gotta wonder how many really have their frikkin' heads up their a$$. So I guess if I ever fall below where I'm at now again, I'll be back shovelin' $h*t just to put a meal on the table, just as I always have, just as I always will. My MENSA score? Pick one. I have a good sense of humor. I'll shut up now. :newlol:

Nice rant Perry. I thoroughly enjoyed the read..And I am being serious...I think that the common person(cog) is a lot smarter than people like Bill Gates.  I'd like to see one of those type people juggle working a full time job, keeping up with kids, and be married and do the shopping and the laundry...Heck most people at that level haven't done laundry or even shopped in a store that they have no idea how to do it.
I remember when The first George Bush retired from being president.  Barbra was on a late night talk show and she was saying how George had discovered Wal Mart ans Sam's...The man didn't even know they existed....That's just wrong!!!

Love this theory but can't seem to convince any of the females I know they are all smarter than me. :(  Maybe It's time I found me a dumb girl. Although the one I have says she must be dumb to be with me LMAO  Does the fact that my girlfriends feet are smaller than mine mean she is less smart or more as she can get closer to the sink? LMAO

I don't think my IQ was ever tested (that I am aware), but I do know my daughter took the SAT in 7th grade and scored higher than the average graduating high school senior.

Why do people get upset with things like this.  These are averages and there is nothing bad about it.  On average men are larger, stronger, and faster than women, but it doesn't make them better or worse than women.  Four points on an IQ scale, to me is negligible.  Everyone is so politically correct and are afraid to say something that is fact for fear of being labeled, racist, sexist, homophobic, or whatever.

The strongest person and fastest person in the world is male but there are plenty of women out there stronger and faster than me.

I believe I also heard that women can run further distances because they have more body fat.

Easy answer - I'll take the money and run. With the extra time and freedom - not to mention cash there'd be more women than I could ever deal with.

Now with that said, makes you wonder how often Bill Gates gets laid, or how bout Warren Buffet?

I agree with the concept that it's not so much what you were given, but what you can do with what you have that matters.
