I agree their down load choices are sparse. If I do this I would use
THM directly. I heard the Cavs versions are horrible music quality and
what the heck is Panorama.

I joined the Cavs user forum and asked about their down loads. I'm
still waiting for a response. After you post with them you have to wait 24 hrs until they will release your post. What is that? All I can assume is that they sensor all posts before they are released. What are they afraid of?

Probably they were ticked off at people advertizing converting programs that they did not want to have created (supercdg and JB199 hard drive songs) which they probably had to promise the manufacturers of the karaoke content to allow use in those formats.

What kind of site is this !

Those are probably done by Sound Choice who have their own format for downloads that are harddrive space hogs, an attepmt to make users want their cdg discs over downloads.
The only choices we have are songs by top hits monthly (Panarama), Zoom, A spanish karaoke manufacturer, cavs and select chartbuster (off the cavs site).

LMAO  LMAO I just checked the Cavs User Board for a reply to my question.

I'm still getting the wait 24 hours message. It has been at least 2 days.  LMAO

Iv'e gotten a few ZOOM discs, and they are decent quality.  I got them for some UK bassed bands that had skaaoke ongs released on the ZOOM label but not on American CDG labels.

Their quality is of the same or better quality of Sound Choice in my opinion. I would go Zoom before I would go SC.

I wouldn't say they are better than SC, they are a little on the bass heavy side, nothing a cut of the eq can't fix, but their quality is very good, better than most out there.

ZOOM is great! I have numerous of their disks because they (as well as Sunfly and Pioneer) are the only respectable suppliers of karaoke music catering for the European market. Go Smokie!!!!!!

Not only that, but they listen to their customers!

Zoom is releasing a disc STRICTLY for the US market, hits of Rick Springfield. Strictly based on customers!

They won't go totally obscure, but over the years, they've received several requests for this, so it seemed to warrent a gamble. I'm hoping enough of the KJ market out there gets them!

Panorama .. whatever... is alright. Nothing wrong with quality of product. They are pro like the others.

As far as CAVS is concerned, hmm...  communication is not too hot. It was one of the reasons I stopped super series they have and now I am just using mp3+G

The only legal downloads that I know of are the ones I pay for first.
