Bottom line the JBL's would be PLENTY for any average Karoake venue. There are many out there that use them. Also MANY bands use them.

I use the original powered Eon 15s, with G2 sub.  Never had an issue with power or enough sound - whether in bars or large banquet halls doing weddings.  A sub is essential with the old Eons.  A company I used to work for replaced their Eons (so I bought 2 of them of course) with the G2s and I noticed the G2s had more bottom, so perhaps in a small venue, a sub might not be as necessary with them.

Also they have the bass adjustment...

An Aphex204 with big bottom kicks in a little more bass without driving the 15" any more than without it.. The secret to getting by with less power is speaker placement.  Its hard to do with karaoke because mains need to be in front of the stage but a speaker against the wall puts out twice the power and one in a corner 3 times....Also in a corner the bass is increased dramatically....

I have noticed very small speakers in bars that are wall mounted.    They are really kicking out a sound, that I would have never guessed would be possible.   The wall acts like it's part of the speaker.
