 :oh yeah: I was tickled pink to have Johnny Echo
and his wife come to my show last night. They came from
Indiana just to see little ole me. Woo hoo ! I was so excited to finally meet someone from the forum.

He is a sly one. They came in sat for a while. Johnny put a song in under the name
Norton  LOL . I noticed they were new, so I went over to greet them. He hadn't
planned on telling me who he was until later in the night, but his wife spilled the beans. I had no idea they were coming!! When she said this is Johnny Echo I was
in temporary shock. It was like having a celebrity in the house. Let me tell you
they are  absolutely the nicest people you'll ever meet. Johnny is as funny in person as he is on the forum and his wife is the sweetest thing.

I'd like to meet more KS people too. We may get that chance down in P-ville.

it's always kewl to meet people from the forums! I met Cueball (he occassionally comes on here, but is usually known from another forum)... he flew out to see me on my BIRTHDAY! talk about a heady experience. I was just utterly shocked!

It is so neat finally meeting someone from KS and putting a face to the name.

Johnny can really sing too. I think he sounds better in person than on SS.
He stayed in character singing "Who put the dick on the snowman" and Monster mash" - it was a hoot !

He got to see all my monkeys  LMAO

I wanted to do something for halloween. I tried putting a costume
on Bigdog, but it didn't look right. He morphed into an exploding pumpkin.

if i ever get anywhere near chicago, i'm definitely going to come to one of your shows....but i'll let you know beforehand so we can make plans to get into some mischief too.....

How cool Babs.

I'm leaving late friday night, going real close to Bakersfield, California. Just me and hubby, and we'll be there through wednesday.

Just last night he said, "Hey, you should take some karaoke cd's... maybe we can go out in California a couple nights". ( he NEVER offers to go out for karaoke )

But I don't know anyone here who's along the I-5 corridor... we'll be there and staying at Redding, CA. Wish I did, cause that would be fun to meet someone else from here.

Yeah, that's true. But Odie, I said "along the I-5 corridor".  :D  I know my way well to Yuba City, but you have to turn off and detour a different Hwy at Red Bluff... go through Chico and all that, to get headed towards Yuba City.

Maybe, if my father-in-law needs to go there for something (it used to be his old stomping grounds too). It would sure be cool to meet her and get the chance to sing with her.

Hmm, middle of central valley, you are lucky it's not heart of the summer there.  LOL I wish you were coming this way. Bakersfield is about 4-5 hours from me and let me tell you, there is nothing there! You should come to San Francisco bay area. This is where it's at. I will take you on a personal tour of this area, including Karaoke around the bay. Come on by soon.  :yes:

Babs, thought I would be much taller, and when I asked her if she thought my nose was huge.....she couldn't answer.....just kept on laughing hysterically.....I'm not as funny in person either.....I don't have as much time to think..... .....you are a sweetie for saying that, and I sure hope I meet you, your husband, and all those great people from the ol' Lonestar state someday.....you are definetly at the top of my list.....I think you and my wife would get along great......
