I know they're saying they "don't think it's terrorist related"
But it's still sending chills down my spine.
I mean, it's a plane.... and it crashed into a building.... in New York City.
Pray god it's just a bad coincidence. :( I hate stuff like this...

Turn on CNN...... A small plane just crashed into a 50 story building in NYC.
It's on Yahoo front page as well.

They're saying nothing "indicates" it's terrorist related...... yet they're sending out fighter planes to fly over many US major cities.
Maybe I'm a fraidy cat, but this kind of thing makes me upset. Too many little reasons to think it IS terrorism. The No. Korea thing, Bush just gave his press conference right before this.... and today's date.
Okay, Charm, mello out. :(
I wish they'd just CONFIRM something already.... I always think the worst.
JESSE....... C'mover here and hold my hand till this is over.

That's just standard procedure now for any kind of plane crash or incidents. They don't want to be unprepared just in case, like the last time. It's probably just a bad accident, nothing more!

Don't worry Charmin. It was a single engine plane and they're thinking it was trying to get to an airstrip and got into some kind of trouble. NORAD was called to alert over several key cities because this is now the policy is now after 9/11 when any kind of unusual plane related incident like this happens. The colonel in charge of dispatching the planes said there was no indication of a terrorist plot going on here.
CNN is just analyzing every possible angle to the story. That's what they do over there!

Now this is funny, and this goes to show how men do indeed directly affect what emotions a woman gives.
I read the posts by Lonman & Odie... and I'm feeling like a little whimpy girl with an "Okay, thanks you guys.... .... now you made me feel better about it" cause a man assured me all would be well.
I read Keith's post, and I want to call him just to scream "Shut up, I know that, and I'm not SCARED of anything anyhow, da'mn it".

Hey, taking things *one day at a time* is about the best anyone can do. If I look forward, I get scared of what's to come, if I look backwards..... I wanna beat myself and say "I TOLD YA SO." :D So yes, one day at a time is a good way to look at life Jess...... Great to see you too. You're not around much any more. Hope all is well with you. :D

Yeah, I know.
But my little bro was an FC in the Navy... through things HE has told me, I do know there is MUCH that doesn't get told to the public also, to avoid panic & rioting. And all those things run through my head, the "what if's".

Wow..they just said the plane was registered to Yankee's player Cory Lidle, and it might've been him onboard.

That's true Charmin. People rarely hear the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
But it's getting a bit harder to keep things from us!

It has just been confirmed he was in the plane. No terrorists here. Possibly just an unexperienced new pilot in a plane he just bought. How sad they just said he has kids.
34 yrs old - Cory Lidle a pitcher for the Yankees

Geez, that's horrible. Of course, you already assume people from the plane died... but when they start identifying them to the public, and talking about kids and spouse left behind... it makes it all the more real. :(
Babs.... I'm on my toes today, and I noticed...... I LOVE the holiday spooks you put on your avatar. Haha, little dog looks like he's frightened to death!! LOL

Well, it was well worth it, you did a great job. You seem to be pretty good with whatever program you use, it's nice and clean work you've done. :D

RIP Cory. He was my favorite pitchers when he was with Oakland, my team. I followed his career after he moved on to Cinncinati and now on the the hated Yankees. He always had style on and off the field. He played beyond his talent and I really respected him for it. My thoughts are out with his wife, son and the rest of his family.
