Oh, that was sweet, how come I had to be the first to quote it?!?

Road trips folks!!! If Big Dog's shows are SO great I for one am willing to drive! (I'll even pay for the gas!)

Some of you here know where I play, and like I said, it isn't pure karaoke, but it's all fun. We even do kamikazee karaoke with shots of kamikazee to motivate singers, but no one is bored.

Karaoke extinction isn't coming, it's the extinction of the hosts who don't roll with the flow.

It IS okay to mix it up! Throw in a dance set, trivia, whatever keeps people interested.

Can anyone here HONESTLY (even to yourself!!) say that they have over 10 years NEVER had a show where there wasn't a lack of singers over FOUR hours time? Of course that wouldn't include singing solo for two of these hours!!! (Then it's not karaoke IT IS a one man band!!!)

Come on, if you've been running a show for 14 years, you HAVE at some point and time had a lack of singers. If you say you haven't you are either lying or just plain playing with yourself.

There are other reasons for dance sets folks! Non singers may have an easier time getting 'lucky' by a great version of All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You than a bad version of I Touch Myself

Im glad you thought my sense of humor was fine.

I think Chuck2, Matt, Lonman, Babs & timberlea.... to name a few are great people to be around, and i appreciate there knowlege and ability to help others.

People like t-towntenor who has no clue who i am and has the nerve to put me down for something such as the use or improper use of punctuation & the use of smileys is to me the type of person who thinks they are of very high IQ  LMAO

(1) I could care less who this BD person is.
(2) I came here a year or so before i changed my nic to Jesse.
(3) I changed my nic because the old one was deleted because i stopped visting
this site for a while and my email address changed therefore was no longer valid
and therefore Phil deleted it.
(4) There are people here who know who i am such as...Melly & Charmin to name a few....and some others who most likely have forgotten because its been so long.
(5) I stopped posting here in the first place a long time ago after i had tried to express my opinion on another subject and was treated with hostility just the same as  t-towntenor has tried to do here in this post!!
(6) This is the very same reason i use fictitious screen names as you call it, and why i protect my personal information by not letting people know where i live.

As far as i am concerned i am smart in the fact that i know better than to tell some rude hostile person my personal info so they can turn around and try to send me some stupid nasty email or even a infected file or what ever...Just because i have a different view on any particular subject.

I came here and thought that i would simply say that i thought that person had some valid points, And i was trying to be funny in a joking type mannor as that is just my nature. I had no clue it would start a flame war!!  :no:

It seems that only certain people are able to express themselves here without getting attacked, and is the very reason that i stopped posting a long time ago.

But noooooo....Stupid me really enjoyed this site a long time ago and i hated leaving this place, but thought that maybe some day i could return if the hostility ever went away or died down.....yeah right....

I cant help but feel sorry for who ever that person is be it a he or she or whatever!!
Im sure they most likely feel as i did two years ago when i was attacked for trying to take up for a close friend who was being attacked for her opinion that evedently didnt jive with some others.

As for t-towntenor ...you just proved to me how small minded you really are by jumping on me and trying to say that im the same person as the one you evedently hate so much, and your remarks towards me shows me that your wasting your time trying match wits with me!! ...MAO

Especially when things get as heated as this silly mess has evedently become. When i came here and started making comments i really had no idea that people were so upset witht this other person.
I thought that maybe it was just some joking around going on because the last time i came in reading in the forum it looked to me like that person actually had made some friends here..... yeah right!! My bad!!!

From now on i'll stay out of here as i think its not any better than it was two years ago from what ive seen today.

So t-towntenor dont waste your time and anger on me after this cause im not gonna be here to even read it....

Well i take that back...Im interested to see if you can figure out that clue so have at it....lmao

One last thing...Phil all i done here was take up for myself, if that means i get banned then i fully understand.

No one attacked the he/she. Tootsie decided to offer opinions without allowing for anyone else to have their own opinion.

The fact is: Everyone runs their shows differently. If you can't handle this, if You can't handle criticism of any kind, THEN YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS on a public forum. Why post if you want 100% agreement? You won't get it. Grow up.

I stand behind my entire post about this subject.    My opinion is still....... catering to the DJ crowd will at some point kill your KJ business.

I would just like to congratulate Big Dog on keeping me amused by his posting on this and other threads. I would also like to congratulate his tenacity to maintain composure and refuse to stoop so low as to make his attacks anything other than tongue in cheek repartee rather than the personal abuse some repeat first graders with facial hair tend to stoop to
Grow up children! whether BD is as sucessful as he describes himself is anyones guess. Frankly I dont care, he has proved himself the better man by not stooping to personal attacks.
So if he is not a rich man, hugely sucessful and respected within his industry, he is wealthy indeed simply because he has maintained a standard of posting (albeit a sometimes irritating one) without stooping to others level

Oh and btw should you think I am BD's alter ego my persona is easily traced I have nothing to hide and no man to be scared of

In others defense when there is a heated agrument going on there is
always the suspicion someone maybe using an alias user name. Unfortunately people have been caught doing this on sveral occasions when they can't get anyone to side with them. You just stepped in at a bad time.

You must speakup to be counted.   Let the loyal singers know who you are.   How will they be able to support your show?   Don't let them down.   They want to know who you are.  :D
