Hiya Folks,
Been using my Cavs 203G USB for a couple of weeks now, the DVD with the scdg works quite well and sounds better than I thought it would. I've only got 1 scdg disk so far it's a filipino favorite disk (because I do a filipino bar every Thursday night) and all the functions work and sound well. I've loaded my whole show converted to DIVX AVI because I have them converted that way for my vocopro hard drive player(which is still performing well) onto a 160 gig comstar external hard drive. as for playing from that hard drive it's a little tricky because to type in the song # to be played you must have it on screen to see what your doing which is a drag for me because I do filler music with DVD live tracks and can't see what I'm doing. But it seems to play well when the track is loaded, But if your file is damaged or corrupt then the whole system crashes and you have to reboot the player which takes a bit of time and Pi***** me off. I'll let you8 know more as I Learn more over the next few weeks.

Thanks for the update ... I guess I'll just get a straight 203 for now and add a laptop w/hard drive later.

The Acesonic has a pull out hard drive in the back of the player and is upgradable as long as its western digital because of the pins so they say. "Maximize Hard Drive Size: 2,000GB Single Drive Slot" is what it sais on the web site.
