I know I know you are going to say I'm pushing it again but Roxbox is going to be adding security so that your files will only work with the player on which the computer is installed on. Thinking about using on all my computers. Not sure how it will affect externals as one computer I am going to have to use an external for part of my collection. but that computer will only have what is already on the drive when I am not using it anyway.

Yeah, souce they are MORONS, duh they got caught in the first place, so obviously they have no clue on how computers.
SOmeone with a bit of computer experince, and some knowledge, can change anything to say anything on a computer. And the "forensics techs" will not be able to tell it was changed/modifyed/altered.

I may be wrong, but am willing to bet the average karaoke user has general computer knowledge & not in depth skills needed to be able to do all that.

True, for some, not for others. But it is possible to fool even the "forensics techs" I was just calling him on his statment in general.

Only if they have better skills. I've seen what these guys can do plus the other sections of the forensics lab. They're not as fast as CSI (what a crappy show) but unless the drive is physically destroyed, they can find what's on them.
And as it has been said before, I highly doubt those who steal a harddrive of karaoke music will be smart enough to fool the techs.

If you do a low level format of a hard drive, nothing can be found on it, no mater how smart you are, even if you have acces to all the new CSI techy tools.
I agree, most can not fool a computer forensic sciencetist, but you were stating that they CAN'T be fooled.
