I'm sure this has been done already but I'll bet there is news since the last time this topic came up.
I started this to have a very loose thread about misc. karaoke stuff. I will even post the first reply so it will make a little more sense.

Sharon, how about we all get together to have a subbing party instead of the all out knock-down, drag-out karaoke parties we've been having. We can do it here because all of my stuff is here but we could start on Sunday afternoon instead of Friday nights as usual.
What do you think?

Another thing, Ollie, I think I figured out where I was having trouble streaming out with Media Encoder. We can try that again next time you get a chance maybe?

I'm gonna hook up my old stereo to my computer because my PC speakers seem to be blown. That will geive me 200 watts max power for my computer. Games should be fun then.
This will also help for recording subs to put up in SS. Long story but it will.

What I cant figure out if you are on a router the wizard picks up the the isp that the router assigns for that trem. Then after encoding the connectiion tab lists the lan isp for the inet It needs the actual inet isp What I would like to do is try to ping your assigned isp (inet) between thru my router and yours and see if its firewall or what.....

I'm certain it's a setting in my firewall on the router. Right after we tried the last time, I was able to focus enough to find out how to switch it off.
Focus has been tough recently. We can try that again later. I bet we'll get a connection next time.

Sorry I missed you Babs.
I'll try to catch you later.
Get Dave to get you some chicken soup. If you guys can find seafood gumbo, it's better than chicken soup. They often make it with a chicken stock but add a lot of stuff that will replace even more vitamins and electrolytes.

38 miles = 56 minutes? Do you ride a tricycle?

Never ride a tricycle..Too dangerous!!! Unicycles are the way to go!!! But that is only when going to rowlett!!! Everywhere else we ride our pogo sticks!!

That is a great idea. We can sing for a reason...Hey, wait.... we don't need a reason. But a Sunday afternoon recording session would be lots of fun and maybe I could sub again!!!

I figured since we get together often to sing and we have everything here that we need to record and sub, might as well do it.

Chamin recommended a group song if we get together. I like that idea. I got five good mikes I can hook up at once. That should get everybody.

I have some ideas for the names of some songs....
"We are the White Anglo-Saxon Protestant World"
"Breasts Across America"
"I'd Like to Sell the World Some Coke"
I'm sure I can come up with lyrics as well:
"I'd Like to Sell the World Some Coke"
I'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And cocaine by the grove
I'd like to sell the world some coke
ANd keep them really high
They'd all come back to buy from me
I'd get rich and not have to try
I'd like to see the world for once
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the trees
"For blow Chris is your man"
I'd like to sell the world some coke
And keep them really high
They'd all keep coming to buy from me
I'd get rich without having to try
EVERYBODY NOW!!
