Nice weather here. The highs won't get back into the 90s for a couple of days. Been gettin' stuff done now that it's not too hot to get outside. I think I might be part Eskimo too.
I haven't been avoiding the forums here. The only reason I post more on the hotter days is because I can't tolerate the heat anymore.
Just wanted to say hi.

Hi-de-ho good neighbor Chuck! Glad you're able to get things done. I can't handle the 90+ weather either. When are you going to sub something new on SS Chuck? You've got a good voice!

Thanks Odie. I hope we can get together this Sunday with Sharon, Rich, and Danny to get some subbing done.

I agree, if we didn't live 12 miles away from each other through such tedious driving we would have more stuff up, all of our group.

Oh yeah, there's lots of friends I don't see much these days because of the distance.
By the way, it'd be good to hear something from Miss Gigi too!

G'morning Chuck. And yes, it is. :D
I don't know nor care what temp it is, I'm still sitting here with my t-shirt and sweats on for the time being, don't plan on changing that for the next few hours, and the house is nice and cosy. We haven't had to start our oil stove back up yet this year... so it's not too bad. Actually, I went out and fed the dogs about an hour and a half ago, and it was pretty nice outside. Cool, but nice & crisp feeling. I love mornings outside, even in the winter. There's something about smelling first morning fresh air... starts your day off good.
Geez, if you guys n' gals are all gonna get together for a recording day, you should do a fun song together. One of those with lots of silly talking parts and such... lots of adlibs. I love subs like that. Speaking of which, I gotta get my tail back in the showcase today, before I have to run off to town later.... I've been missing alot of them. I did listen to Tony Learner yesterday, if you all missed his last sub, you're missing out. That guy can make a Scotland Yard policeman get teary-eyed with a song. And, I guess he's leaving the site, atleast for a while. I, among many others, will miss him. Hell of a nice guy.
Anyways, there's my first morning blabber. :D

Hey, I got half a pan of that in the oven. I made steak, peas, cornbread, and mashed potatoes & gravy for supper last night. LOL
Now mentioning that makes me hungry, and a bowl of cornbread and milk sounds really good. :yum:

No way can you have 6, and me only have 2, when I've done my time and you haven't.
I'm PM'ing the GuRu, I feel the need to whine about it. :D

Aaaaaactually, I made milk gravy. From the steak drippings. :yum: Best kind IMO. Nice and smooth too, no lumpies.

Good Morning! What's left of it! Actually it is almost noon here. When I got up this morning at 5 it was in the mid 60's and for me, that means I can run around in shorts and a light shirt. I made coffee and sat outside to drink it while I watched the sun come up. Weather is going to be in the mid 80's today. It certainly looks like it is getting there, but I am stuck in my classroom with a great air conditioner, 27 inch color tv, and my computer! Life is rough! I can't believe they actually pay me to do this job! I hope everyone's day goes as well as mine has started off! For those of you in colder country, I don't envy you at all! I love my hot weather! Have a great day SS!--Mike

I love when someone else makes gravy, even if there are lumps. Pan drippen's though, that's the best kind.
