VOCOPRO Now Makes A SIDE-BY-SIDE Individual Dual Player WITH A 12 Step KEY CHANGER (About $650.00). At Least It Seems That They Listen To the Needs of Professional KJs . Now IF they could only do something about their QUALITY & RELIABILITY ISSUES, Has Their Been Any Improvement In Their New Products That Anybody Can Speak Of?

Tommie
Which model are you refering to? Vocopro was one of the 1st to come out with the dual side by side PRO player. I haven't heard of any IMRPOVEMENT in their quality or read anything which would make me think they have IMROVED. Besides the quality issues there products are very EXPENSIVE.

THey've had the dual player for a couple years now. Have heard very little good comments on it.
They have the little hard drive player that I have heard good things about.

JAM: The New Models Are CDG-9000PRO And A MULTI-FORMAT Player ModelDVG-909K. Check Out their Website. I Agree With You About their Past Products, I always Thought They Sold Overpriced JUNK But These Players are what KJs Have Been Asking For, thats why I Wondered if it was the Same Old VOCOJUNK!

I Never Saw Their DUAL SIDE-BY-SIDE Players With DEDICATED KEY CHANGER OPTION.

It was just a revamp of the previous dual player they had & added the key changer. Not much better reliability wise (big graphic & skipping issues) - at least the reviews i've gotten from people that own/owned it both personally & from the boards.

Yeah, it's too bad no one else makes a side by side player that changes keys. Numark makes one, but it only changes pitch. What good is that?

That's the way the VP unit used to be. They just added the digital key changer within the last 2 years or so. Too bad JVC or Pioneer didn't jump on this concept, would have kept them in the lead!

Yeah, the VocoPro intrigues me, except that I have heard so many bad things about them, plus they are a bit pricy. Then again, the last RSQ I got was DOA right out of the box.

Supposedly their little hard drive player (VP) isn't made by them - probably why they are getting better reliability reviews. Robdog has one & says except for the limited capacity - which supposedly can be upgraded - it's a nice little unit. I haven't in all fairness seen the new player with the digital key changer in action - just reports on the graphic/skipping issues with it. I did use the previous model to try out for a while & only kept it a week - graphic errors were unbelievable.
RSQ is no longer being made by JVC (the single/triple tray were actually JVC with RSQ tags). Have to laugh at the ebay scammers calling the new RSQ models as JVC/RSQ.

I have always said that Vocopro listed all the RIGHT features a pro KJ needs on both there players and there mixers. Admittedly I too never used their dual players but did get sucked into one of there mixers a few years ago KJ7000. Had all the right features but none of the quality or sound of the Pro Audio Mixers . Little things on the mixer went immediately like meter lights burnt out and one channel went within weeks. The last Voco purchase I made was for a cheapo single tray to be used as a back up and its junk. I mean it works okay ..most of the time but the feel and workmanship is cheap ..even for cheap stuff
