Hello, I am a newbie, to computer karaoke. I recently downloaded karafun, and would like to build a library of cd+g on my harddrive. I downloaded goldenhawk. How do I go about doing this? I have  a Plexor drive that I can play the songs on, and see the lyrics.

Thanks K.D.

if youu have  CDRWIN from Golden Hawk, then you need to rip the CDG tracks into BIN files.  THen you can use MP3+g Toolzs to convert the BIN files to MP3+G files that can play in KARAFUN

alternatively audiograbber has the option of ripping cdg discs to either bin or to zip files so as you can use other zip players like sax & dottys or roxbox

Which model Plextor drive do you have. My PX 716-UF does not want to play discs with Karafun. Just curious if anyone else has this problem.

I rip and burn to my computer with my Plextor using Audiograbber. Very good software.

Is MP3+g Toolzs  software you have to buy? I did a google, and it seems to come up this way. Will Audiograbber convert bin files to mp3+g to play on karafun?

I am using a 20/8/40 plextor drive and 8/4/32A. You can get one off ebay for cheap!

ok, I can now save them on my harddrive. However when i change the name of the song, (Im using Toubadour karaoke lite) it will not allow me to save a name in a folder, so I can build a library. It just defaults back to the track #. It will show what-ever i type in for the folder, only for  a split second. How do i build a library of songs, so i can save 100 disks on my hard-drive (for karafun)

I couldnt get audiograbber to work, is there step by step fool proof instuctions?
