Robdog - that's cool. I don't watch the show, but everyone keeps telling me about it.
I think my whole family watches it.

I heard my brothers discussing the fact the band bites. They said the studio band
is much better.  LMAO

My favorite Canadian right now is Justin Morneau. I'm from Minnesota and am still a huge Minnesota Twins fan. Justin is in the top three players suggested to win the American League MVP. Go Canucks! Go Twins!

Okay, this is just my opinion, so don't think I'm dissing the Canadians or anything.
Supernova, to me is just a side project. Based on the pop sound and the weakness of the original material, I really don't see it lasing past the first album and tour.
Lucas....well I'm just not sure what they saw in the boy, you can't understand a single word he sings, and the constant tongue sticking out will get old real quick. I am almost willing to wager that by time they do their first gig, you'll see alot of the goth look gone, along with the cheesy studded wrist bands. Personally I thought most of the contestants were pretty weak myself, without a clue as to what and who they were auditioning for.
Can you say MONEY....that's what it's all about, some quick cash. Tommy Lee is always on the mark with his drumming. Jason, having played with Metallica, Voivod, Flotsom and Jetsom, I'm sure will get bored quickly of this simplified material that he's having to do. Gilby, although I respect his G'N'R days, is not much of a lead player, so I don't see the material advancing far beyond what it already is. But having said that, props to Lucas for winning, not my choice, but still wish him the best.
It will be interesting to see what they come up with for next season on Rockstar. Speaking of, remember INXS, wow, the new reunion ended up being pretty much a one semi-hit wonder. If it weren't for the show Vegas playing their tune as their theme, we would have pretty much forgotten about them by now. In fact most of you probably had, except for the fact that I brought it up again.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the show Rockstar, but just wish they didn't limit the song selection to the generic alternative rock that has already seen better days. Let the contestants pick their own and really be able to show what their capable of.
Like I said, this is just my opinion, that and a dollar will almost get you a soda at your local convenient store, so don't put much credibility into what I say, I've been wrong before. :D

Couldn't agree more with MANINBLACK.

Hopefuly Lucas takes some voice lessons and lears how to enunciate.  Don't get me wrong, when he sings, he is actually realy good at what he does, but I didn't hear much singing from him.

Hopefully Dilana take up the offers from Gilby and Dave, and makes an album ASAP, casue I will buy 6 copies!!!!!.  I think Supernove should have chose her, her voice is more defined, and more experinced than Lucas.  But that is all my opinion.  I think Lucas would have better fit a new, grunge style band.  Having to play with Supernoave, he will always be compared to GNR, Metallica, and Motley Crue, unfortunate, but true.

Couldn’t agree more!!!

In my opinion, shows like Rockstar Supernova and American Idol are the epitome of the lowered standards of the rock music industry today. Yea right, 8 weeks to fame and fortune. What a crock of equine waste.

So many really talented artists, singers, and song writers but so few Simon Cowells’. Where will it end?
