Not surprised. You play with dangerous wildlife too much and it's bound to happen.

Starbaby, you needs some educatin'!!
The Time Warp is a dance from the musical Rocky Horror Pictureshow staring Susan Seranden. If you've never been to a showing of the RHP, I would urge you to look out for one in your local theater sometime around halloween. You'll never forget it!!!

Yep, RHPS is one of the the classics from the 70s. I used to go every Saturday night and watch it at a local theater, midnight show of course. I must have watched it like 40 times or more. I remember the words to all of the songs. Susan Sarandon is regretting the decision now that she's a big star but it got her starting in her career. Barry Boswick did a few movies afterwards but never became a star. Of course, it was Meat Loaf's big splash and he became a pretty good actor afterall.
If you haven't seen the sequel/prequel to RHPS, Shock Treatment, do it. The music is much better than the original, specially check out the number little black dress. I wish I can find the soundtrack to it.

Glenn Miller's plane disappeared ? I hope he wasn't in it. He's a great musician. Great composer too, I can't imagine the future of music as we now know it without Miller around. God only knows what music will evolve to the second half of this century ! The future looks grim IMHO. Can you imagine what type weird stuff will evolve in the 50's, 60's etc ? Probably some weird electrical crap. On a less depressing note have you guys heard about that amazing contraption that does math stuff, and is supposedly able to retain stuff ? It's called the Mark 1... It's huge. About 60 feet long by 10 feet high !!!! Technology is really taking off !!! But considering the fact that it's got a brain of it's own, that's not too large.

Cat, FYI:
Read around before you post on a certain subject. People seem to get their hackles up if you repeat something that has been said recently.
For example, this thread was started Sept. 3
http://www.karaoke-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=7826
Which makes your post FOUR DAYS later, like....... REALLY old news.

No biggie on the repeat of a subject. I'm sure I've done it.
I think of Starbaby as our newly addopted newbie. She brings a
cute young perspective to things. I like having a lot of different
personalities on the forum. It keeps it from getting boring.

Well, Babs, I'm just not so certain everyone has your train of thought. :D
A few people just took it upon themselves to use her newness here, and her bad typing & spelling skills... to try & make themselves look a bit more superior. Surely you recall that little game from junior high school? Seems some never quite outgrow it. Like she KNEW to browse the forums to see if anyone had already talked about Steve Irwin. Cry me a river people....
But, thanks Babs. And, the girl needs a good adoptive momma here, haha, you can adopt her if ya like. I'm not around so much any more. But she's a bit of a wild child (gets that from her Aunt Charm I think)... so beware. LMAO
