Soulman

I use the PCDJ-KJ plugin along with my PCDJ RED for DJ'ing etc.
I like the program and have had no real problems with it.
If you set up the system as reccomended you will be fine.

If you really are interested - go to their website and download the demo
Peak around their website forums and you will find some great advice and answers to most of your questions.

As you know there are MANY karaoke software programs out there.
I actually use the PCDKJ program and have had no problems, lockups or memory glitches.

Keychanger works great
allows for cueing up singers in advance
with the Red DJ - it allows for auto play of filler music when Karaoke song finishes
Plays ZIPPED files
Easy Search feature

IF YOU LIKE IT GO FOR IT...you won't be dissapointed

Soulman ,
Visit the PCDJ webiste , tons of information and I believe a FREE demo.

As stated I use and like the program . but my suggestion before buying any would be to download and demo them.  This site is filled with topics and discussions on COMPUTERIZED KARAOKE SHOW INFORMATION. All have pros and cons .

Look for a program that offers TECH SERVICE and one that has forums so you can discuss with REAL kJ's and DJ's who use that particuliar program.

Beware of people who say thinks like ...I heard that program is no good  / I saw that prgram in action and didn't like it. !

You won't know what YOU like until you test drive it

Good luck

Why is there dead air?   My singers sing back-to-back without dead air.    Learn how to run a continuous show.     I don't even carry any "regular" music discs.     I won't need regular music when I switch to computer.

People only clap 10 claps, after the singer is done.    So by the 6th clap and they are starting to fade away, the next song is starting.   After the title and intro, it's time for the next singer to sing.    No dead air, no dreaded filler music.     It's not like they are going to do an encore.    Next.     Nobody plays more music in a night, than me.   Happy, happy singers.
