Hi,

I'm teaching a guitar class and I'd like to make "Karaoke" presentations from my computer.  Instead of lyrics, I want to display chord diagrams and tablature in sync with recorded music.  Is there any software that will allow me to import pictures?  I would prefer some kind of "bouncing ball" display, so that the students can see what chord is coming up (instead of just one chord at a time).

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
chris.

There are actually guitar karaoke. They display the chords at the top of the screen and the words below.

Google gifs to avi... There are several softwares you can use in conjunction with Windows Media Encoder to make a wma .  Also check out Windows Movie Maker.

These would be the best route to get the timing and effects you are looking for.
