I agree, I'm using a Pionner DVD-RW and a Plextor PX-230A which BTW MTU says it CAN'T read cdg, they both work fine with your suggested software and also with Karawin Pro, CDG Ripper, Winamp... MTU is still using the old format to communicate with the optical drive which explains why there software (except Hoster) only works with the real CDG player like Plextor.  They must be at LEAST 3 years behind the competition and are they not suppose to be the market leader for karaoke???
