Greetings.  Looking forward to garnering information and tips from fellow Karaoke junkies.  I've been a singer for 7 years and have done some stints as a backup KJ.

I am most comfortable with songs in the vocal range of Josh Turner or Trace Adkins.  Haven't been able to find much in the Pop/Rock scene that fits (my shorts just don't get tight enough for tenor).

Welcome aboard.. I found lots of usefull information using this forum.. from which songs to sing to new stuff I've never heard of. So no complaints here..

Got the same problem with the shorts.. [glow=red]no freddy mercury for me![/glow]

I used to be that way When crystal Gayle came out with cry Id have them turn the key up 4 and sing it like Johnny Ray I havnt done it lately but I got to where I could do it pretty good.

Another song thats hard to do is Twittys Its Only Make Believe...

Best thing is do all genres and learn mid and top singing tecniques to increase your range..
