yes...i just read over the rules and i can't remember him doing anything to warrant a ban vote...

seriously though, i think i've read all his posts and can't for the life of me remember anything he did wrong, that's why i wanted to see the post he got a ban vote on...if someone is pushing the button just 'cos they don't like someone or agree or whateverrrrr, that's just not right....

ya know...i should just keep my mouth shut and quit stirrin' up stuff again....but i do a 'charmin' every now and then too....

It's here for our use. You know how when you talk out loud, put your foot in your mouth, and wish you could retract the statement (I'm somehow quite SURE you do...) Well, here we can do that.  As long as someone hasn't quoted it, or done the old favorite of copying the entire thread and posting it into notepad on their HD, you're all free and clear. One of the best features here, IMHO.

Sorry, the only threads I start here have some mutually beneficial or outside interest involved (i.e, intellectual rather than emotional involvement).  Thanks for the suggestion however.

No need to apologize--never said you were wrong about me being a "stuffed shirt"--I can be that at times.

It may be poor form Michael but somehow it made someone want to vote ban me so leaving it up might generate more vote bans.

Chuck, what could YOU have possibly written to cause that to happen? I'm incredulous, seriously (or are you being facetious).  PM me if you have a moment...I'm not clear on this.   Frankly, unless someone writes something criminally venal, downright slanderous, culturally or racially insulting or chooses to add porno or other disreputable  links with their posts I can't quite fathom the whole point of this.

Da mn Chuck. Did you really remove all of your comments? That won't remove the ban proposal. They can only vote against you once.   Don't be scared, Chuckster! I just got two and it's no big deal.  :beermates: I may get moody and send out a whole wave of 'em if I decide to but they're no big deal. If they boot ya eventually then you'll have more time for the things in life that actually matter. This is just an addictive toy. (A big time consumer for those of us that hit it too often)  Stand by your comments. You didn't say anything wrong really. Most peeps are agreeing with that from what I've seen.  This wouldn't be much of a site if everyone started removing their posts. Seems a little radical but point taken I guess.
