Credit Neil Diamond for one of the Monkees hit.

What was the Fox soap after Bev 90210 about a band, but I think it had a hit with "How do you talk to an angel"

And does Blues Brothers count?

Blues Brothers wasn't really a fake band - it started out as a skit, but turned into something real, but even in the skits, they used the SNL band of the day & they really sang & played harmonica.
Lonman,

Those fantastic boobleheads of yours reveal lots about you and your taste in life and music.....I love it!

Back during my first divorce, I was hoping they would produce a TV show starring DAC....I was deep into his "*%# Stains On The Pillow" attitude back then...I lived the words of that song.....That would have been my reality show favorite!

I still like some DAC as long as it ain't racial or too obscene.

I guess my fav of all time was anything Beach Boys....I was stuck overseas as a kid with NO TV when they were releasing their best hits.

I remember Dad cussing the Beatles the night they first hit the Ed Sulliven(SP?) show....God, he yelled at them 'long-haired freaks' on our black n white TV!....Next day we all wuz singing 'I wanna hold your hand' on the school bus.

I was a very lucky teen....I was living in Germany....I had a beautiful handmade acustic guitar n handmade Tony Lama boots and a Stetson, a knockout older girlfriend, a good paying job, and me n her traveled all over Europe together doing the puppy love thing and living the music of the times...We survived out of backpacks and the generousity of strangers who forgave us our language skills and only accepted our songs as payment.

I miss the early 70's overseas, and I dearly miss who I was back then.

Wow... how old are you? In the early 70's, I was still tipping a sippy cup.  LOL

Yep, and my present wife wasn't born till I had been married several years already to my first wife.

Ain't it cool how patience truly does pay off?

Hon, I am not old. I am seasoned. I have survived what scares and confuses you today. I've got bullet holes and scars that shield and protect what's mine, not weaken me and expose them....That's why my wife ordered my truck tags with 'YODADDY' on them...She knows what she needs her man to be for her.

Lighten up, I wasn't calling you "old"........ just asked a question. I had just always thought.... you were closer to my age. Just an honest question.

I don't need to lighten up, you need to touch me softer....Hard is a good thing...Once you learn to how to approach it.

Yep, and if I wanted, you would do as I pleased too....I got your number, Baby.

Charmin, you have always been very attractive to me. You tease me with what I'm looking for. Who knows if you are all that in reality.....All I know for sure is what I am and what I need.
