Bill.... Gilly and Tig have known eachother for a long time.... a lot of us have a history of inside jokes and the like. I'm willing to bet money that Gilly didn't find his comments rude, but rather...ummm.... amusing! eh, Gilly?

Thanks for pointing out the obvious of the "report button" Bill.. i guess, I assumed that because there was a report button beside ALL of the posts, by individual people, that me hitting MY report button, simply reported me. Which is probably a good idea, because I am a very bad girl, and need the admins to come give me a good.. umm.. i will stop while I am ahead. (behind?)

Hugs you all. You really do make this a great place to come visit, and i Love each and every single different personality here, and how you all interact. While I might seem sarcastic here, I for once, am not. (*GASP!*) I really do love the atmosphere, which is why i returned to the site, after simply lurking for the longest time:)

Ok, I guess what I'm saying here is that Tig mentioned a couple things (as innuendo) about Gilly's mouth and a certain video. She replied with  :oops:. That made me think, (and I'm sure plenty of others) that she was embarrassed and probably offended too. Appeared to me he had it coming. However, I'm sure Tig is a fine upstanding character. Must of just been an accident he was booted after 50 ban votes. My guess is after that comment a lot of people probably pushed the 'ban' button thinking Gilly was offended just as I did. However, I am NOT one of them.

Anyway, I suppose I am just restating the obvious?

Well like I said (I) didn't vote to ban him. I'm more open minded than that. However that comment came off wrong with me, and I think a lot of other people too. (I know because some people here concurred privately). I've been here a couple of weeks so - no, I don't know the inside jokes. Seriously though, no intention to put down Tig. Sounds like he is a friend of a lot of you. I'll leave it at that.



Ok, well here it gets a little confusing, especially for us Newbies  :confused: . Gilly actually came up the the 'Tard' designation at the start of this thread. She's the one that wanted the Tard club. So, is a Tard a good thing or bad?  LOL As I recall Tard was in reference to the previous thread on Trolls. Now perhaps it is really the Trolls that are bad (whoever they are)? Obviously it is difficult to label some generalized non-specific group as Trolls or Tards without defining specifically who they are and why they are. That's why everyone is having a misunderstanding here, and probably part of the reason Tig was ban voted. Now maybe a third definition is Spammer, because I know the rules and guidelines say that people are not supposed to jump into a thread and hijack it with off topic stuff thereby 'spamming' it. I belong to other forums and they are very strict about staying on topic per thread. People can get banned or suspended for spamming, and it does have it's place. Actually I can see that this forum could use more moderator intervention and definition / enforcement of rules. That way there could be an area for informal chit chat and if people wanted to have a serious thread on a particular topic then that thread would stay on track and people could derive something from it as a resource. This works on the other forum I mentioned although I will admit there is always a fringe of people that just don't agree. In the case of the other forum I mentioned a big group of members left and started their own forum with very lax rules. I think any way you go here someone is always left out. My take on it is like the garden party song.."you can't please everyone so you've got to please yourself". Ok, you with naughty minds, I know what you are thinking....

I can see this a couple of different ways, but probably really need more information and experience on this forum to come to any final conclusions. As in anything my guess is there are two sides to the story. There is always some good with the bad and vice versa. That is the nature of the beast. I will refrain from making comments like 'I'm glad he's gone' though unless I have more conclusive info. I agree that is out of place.

Bill honey, I think you are taking ALL of this MUCH too seriously:) IT is NO big deal. DON"T worry about it! I only made the tard comment, because it was mentioned in the other thread, and I found it amusing, and thought, that I would probably be the biggest "'tard". if there were any at all:)

I don't take ANYTHING seriously, and most people here know that. I can see maaaybe you might have thought I was offended by tig.... but, then, if people were REALLY talking privately about it, they could have simply asked me, and I could have cleared it up:)  So, no big deal. If tig was banned because he mentioned some video I sent him, and other people misunderstood my  , that is technically MY fault, i suppose.

Again, I think this should ALL be dropped, because it is interuppting my fun and lightheartedness.  If someone WAS being rude to me, I wouldn't hit the report or ban button. Doesn't bother me in the least, so why should it bother anyone else?:) I am sorry I EVER contributed to this thread in the first place, to be perfectly honest. I will think twice about involving myself in many in the future, as well.

Oh, now don't you go over the top and start getting too serious. I don't think you did anything wrong. And you are right, a PM would clear it up for someone. I didn't PM because I never thought to ban vote. Actually I didn't know that feature was there until everyone started discussing it.

I think I am done with this thread too, unless someone posts something that I have to respond to, and then I may respond just in PM if I think I have to.

Sometimes odd things happen and can't really be helped. Surely Tig already has another log on and back on anyway. It wouldn't be that hard. Anyway, I probably said too much already. I'm not really the topic of this thread and didn't intend to become part of it. So, perhaps at least I learned something from this. I mean I like to share, but not when people are easily misled - which is probably exactly the way you are feeling right now.

Ok, you got me. You've noticed one of my forum idiosyncracies...I tend to be a little wordy, or long winded. Have to remember to keep it short.   [Be the ball..hehehe]
