I would say Michael Hutchence (sp?) of INXS, who hung himself from a bathroom door after a phonecall to his wife regarding her and their child joining him for the INXS reunion tour took a turn for the worse.  His wife was seeing the singer from the Boomtown Rats (can't remember his name right now) and he was not happy about the arrangements. Michael was what I see as an ideal male figure. He reeked sexuality, intelligence, talent and charisma, yet it wasn't enough for him to keep him from killing himself. Depression and despair are tough to get by sometimes and all the money, fame and whatever else you have don't mean you're happy (obviously).

Actually hon you have it  about face. Hutchence was seeing the wife of the lead singer of the Boomtown Rats. (Sir Bob Geldof) Hutchence wasnt married although he did have a lengthy affair with kylie minogue

I never wrote an autobiography about either man so I'm not surprised I had some facts wrong. I know they had a child together and she was supposed to join him on the reunion tour. You live over there so all those facts were probably blown up quite a bit. It's just a shame that he killed himself on the brink of a new tour, a new start. If I corrected every mistake written in here I would be writing until the end of time. I'll try not to set my facts in stone from now on.  Thanks, Morgan.

whoa sorry if I offended it certainly wasnt my intention to upset. Hutchence is Australian I am from NZ btw.
Yes they did have a daughter, after Geldofs wife opted to join her lover in the wild blue yonder Geldof went thru a lengthy court battle for custody of the little girl and has raised her as his own ever since

OK,  I've been selectively reading this thread, but missed the stuff regarding Hutchense.  Since when was he married ?  Last I heard he might not've deliberately took his life.  Wasn't there speculation of auto-erotic asphyxiation ?  or was that to cover something up ?

There are so many that touch my heart.  It is ussually the song and not the artist...

Jessica Simpson....Yes she has a pretty voice. The one thing I can't handle with her is watching her sing..To me, she looks like she is in pain when she sings...

There are entirely too many artists whose voices move me... sometimes to tears.  Far too many to name at any rate.  However, I find that more often times it's the SONG itself that does it.  I can think of many artists who have excellent voices, but it really depends on the lyrics, the music, etc. that makes me feel moved.  Now of course if someone who can't sing very well sings the same song that touches me in some way, it's not going to have the same effect.

I'm a really big fan of Josh Groban's voice... but if I don't like the song all that much (even if he does have an awesome voice) I skip over it and choose not to listen.  I love John Mayer & Jason Mraz's voices.... but on the end of the spectrum, I'm quite moved by the lead singers of both Tool and 30 Seconds To Mars.  I find interesting qualities in all their voices.
