This isn't a movie quote but a memorable quote nonetheless.
The two great writers Robert Benchley and Alexander Woolcott were signing their respective new books at a New York bookstore. When a fan of Woolcott's pressed him to sign his book, the following exchange of words ocurred:
Woolcott: Ah, yes, is there anything rarer than a Woolcott second edition!
Benchley: Yes. A Woolcott second edition.
They don't make them like that anymore....

I saw that. (I uh, have a bad habit of clicking on the profiles on newbies) Yup, I'm a newbie stalker, I admit it.
Hmmm..... We're both Taurus, and haven't butted heads in here yet. LOL

Dr. Howard was my favorite, Dr. Fine was very good too but I could relate to Dr. Howard but not Dr. Howard.

Shemp was a replacement but was later replaced with Joe.

The Dr. Fein I'd like to meet has a horrible laugh but if you keep her from laughing...
OK, she was a nanny on a show that was cancelled years ago. She got on nearly everybody's nerves too but with the sound turned down she was yummi.

So in total there were 5 or 6 "Three stooges" ? Or weren't they always "three stooges". I have no history on these guys.
Curly, Joe, Shemp, Moe, Larry any others at any phase of the show ?

Moe, Curly and Shemp were all brothers. Shemp's real name was "Sam" but got the name because his mother, with her heavy yiddish accent would call his name from out the window and it came sounding like "Shemp" (don't ask how I know this garbage!)
When Curly had to retire due to multiple strokes, Shemp came in as the third stooge. He later had a heart attack and was replaced by Joe Besser, best known for his role as "Stinky" on the "Abbott & Costello". On that show, Stinky was always asking the soda jerk behind the counter to put more castor oil in his milkshake. Soon after, Columbia Pictures dropped "the boys" and they later returned in feature length movies with Joe DeRita taking on the "Curly" role (he was known as "Curly Joe").
Moe was widely regarded as "the brains of the outfit" in real life as well as in his screen characterization.
There you have it--everything you ever wanted to know about The Three Stooges...

I SHOULD have known that. I didn't. Thanks. Embarassed about some of the things at my age, I don't have a clue about. I was never a big TV person though.

Line heard in every "Godzilla" movie at some point....a man points in the direction of a window and yells "Ahhhhhh, da monstah!"
Also, every other Godzilla flick featured a kid named Ken, who wore a baseball cap. He usually would cheer on Godzille as the monster decimated Tokyo.
Does anyone remember the little twins who lived in a clamshell and would sing the "Mothra" theme song? They were actually popular Japanese recording stars of their day, known as "The Peanut Sisters". Does anyone have a karaoke backing for the "Mothra Theme Song"?
