True friendship on the internet takes longer than true friendship "in real life" does to establish.  Without a persons expression, body-language, and various characteristics I can more easily read in real-life situations, "Type" only is a VERY easy means to be dishonest.  Many aren't, but many are.  Takes time to know who you can trust.

I give all the respect I can to internet friends but I don't know them and they don't know me. I may say a little too much about myself but there are things no one will ever know about me.

I certainly hope not.  I have a small nose for a jew.   If that doesn't balance things out, I haven't a clue what will  LMAO  Oh, yeah,  and "the other" thing is VERY small too.  I have a contest going on AOL for the smallest $(%# online.  I get sick of the same old contests.  Need some variety !

No problem Bab's.  Everyone else gets sick,  it's just my turn.. But as I said, yesterday and the day before I didn't feel as responsible for how I interacted with others, so I stayed away.  That's my responsibility. Everyone around here is sick anyway.  This time they just included me in the festivities  :(

I, really I have, I have been known to just grab their hand and place it...er...THERE....then watch their eyes bug out.

Not my usual practice, but kinda my way of cutting thru their silly doubts when they expressed them.

Girls walk around with their stuff sticking out for the world to see and judge...us guys keep our package kinda hidden....sometimes you gotta cut thru the mystery and let them judge you like you do them....When it's at that point, just give it up and let them have a feel.

That takes great self control. Are you taking anything for your flu bug?

I won't take it personally if you have a feverish typing frenzy and come accross as rude. Sometimes perfectly healthy people do that too.

I hope you aren't insinuating that all online flirting is harmless, or not real. Truth is more and more social relationships (for real) are being started on the internet. The whole new generation practically only communicates that way. Right now there is an ad on Tv for eHarmony.com and I'm sure you've seen all their supposed "matches".

I don't think it is always easy to tell when someone is seriously flirting or just joking. That is part of the lure and why people engage in it. On the net you can't see their expressions etc (unless they have a webcam ).

It's always hard to know exactly what people are thinking even if they are typing some of their thoughts. Obvious simple firting I can tell. But many (such as my Brother) after long flirty / chatty relationships on MySpace often meet or date the people he flirts with. It's just life in the 21st century.

Although they caome in many differant sizes and shapes, I can appreciate them all, each on their merits.

Yeah Gilly,  that's how I feel too..  There's a difference between flirting and actually using the internet to hook up with people while on trips to carry out covert love affairs..  But a person who is going to cheat, will find a means anyway.  It's the peoples problems, not the internet IMHO...
