Nathan..... WHAT is that man in your avatar doing?
I can't decide wether I want to be freaked out..... or lean up a bit closer to my monitor.

Speaking of the Amber alert. I noticed an arrest has finally been made in the JB Ramsey case.

Too bad her mother died before this....I really felt for those folks once the DA started dogging them.
I just can't imagine how anyone can be sexually attracted to a child....It is truely beyond me.
When I was in the Navy I served a stint at submarine fleet HQ as their law enforcement guy. One day Squadron sent me a guy awaiting legal action...So I placed him in a watch section and assigned him some busy-work duties...Then I started getting FBI Spot Reports on his legal status....He was being processed for sexually abusing his 2 little kids!...and his wife allowed it to continue with full knowledge!
The spot reports revealed every detail as they discovered them....The guy would invite "friends" over and force the kids to.....I won't say it here cause it not only goes beyond the imagination, it goes beyond the worst I have heard of since.
You can believe I started to er,...."treat" him a little differently than my usual criminals.

Keith, That was naturally the first thought that went thru my head. Too bad the mother just died, and never had the satisfaction of any closure after all they'd been thru. But, another thought of course was that their ARE sick people in this world. Let a 6 year old kid, be a six year old kid, and don't start converting them into ANYTHING that might attract sexual deviants. Unfortuneately deviants DO exist. It just puts a child at further risk IMO :(
I haven't read any details on this guy they brought back from Taiwan, just heard that he was deported due to his involvement in this case to begin with ? Why has this taken so long assuming this to be the case ? I haven't a clue... Anyway, at least there will be some closure.. I don't yet know any of the details, I guess today this will be discussed in some detail by the press. To think this was a school teacher too. That's frightening.

Fortunately, Patsy was told before she died that there was a very strong lead.
What I was hearing this morning was that there is no database specifically for teachers. I think it would be a very good idea to create one for use only by schools in the case of hiring teachers.

I saw the guy on the news today - little feminine looking - it
almost looked like he was wearing eye liner.
I've heard some people say they think the father paid the guy to take the fall for him. That is hard for me to believe - no money is worth going to prison for killing a
little girl. By the looks of this guy I'll be surprised if he survives jail.

They've known about this for awhile, however there were no convictions or arrests made.

Unfortunately, teachers, scout leaders, clergy and ANY position that allows easy access to kids will always be a path for molesters.
Gez, it seems the world is populated with SO MANY of them....I never suspected the perversion was so widespread....I swear to all here, if anyone molests my baby I will stomp then to tatters. there will be nothing left to prosecute, there will be nothing to bury except mush....My baby is just a baby....she has her whole life in front of her...I will kill anyone who destroys her innocence in that fashion....I can't think of any injury more destructive than child molestation...It goes beyond flesh, it disfigures so deeply it effects their very self-their inner core...The very thing we parents are responsible to forge and protect gets damaged beyond all possible means of recovery.

Well said Keith. It does damage very deeply and permanantly.

Yep, there will be those who refuse to accept the parents didn't do it....They will forever deny the truth and invent stuff like what you described.

I think this is a just fear for any parent. When my girls were little
the only people I let watch them was my parents and best friend.
It is sad to think most kids are molested by family members or people you trust.
I would be leary of any adult wanting to take my kids on a camping trip especially a teacher or religious leader. But you hear bad stuff happening like this all the time.
So & so would take young boys camping and something bad would happen.

Making sure your kids are where they say they are is a tough job but it can help cut down on the chances of this happening.
