Love this artist (Scott Saw)-http://www.scottsaw.com/paintings_05.html

There are some samples of his work..... Something about it though. I just love it.

that is one of my fave pieces... I wrote him tonight, and he shared with me the meaning behind it, and it made me love it even more. I would love to purchase a print for Skylah, because she begs me to show her the image constantly. I love that it "grabs" her attention, as well.

What sort of artwork do you all enjoy? I have many faves.. but this is my newest obsession.

Also, fave children's author... that ALSO illustrates.. Mo Willems... His pigeon books darn near have me keeled over in laughter. His other books are amazing too. So perfectly suited to young children, yet enjoyable by parents.

Lol, you are nuts:)

I am considered "artistic", but I don't really consider myself to be. I used to do portraits when i was younger, because I hated working, and it was terrifically good money.... sadly, doing things I enjoy, for money.. takes all of the joy out of it for me. The last portrait i did was of my daughter when she was 6 months old.  I dont think i  have ever shared any of my work with anyone online... Lol, I think i shall keep it that way:) But, i do like the idea of knowing a lot of the work I have done of people's children, and parents, etc, will be kept hanging on walls, and handed down to children. Sort of a neat feeling, even if i DON"T want to do it anymore....
