I just can't help it sometimes.

My wife says I need to be nicer.         :handshake:  :handshake:  :handshake: Someday I want to be that nice guy that I strive to be (just not right now)

Anyway. Don't say anything if you can't say something nice (I always say) so have a great night!

(It may be the steroids that I had to take for 6 months. Or maybe I'm just not a nice guy, heck, who knows?)  :need hug:

For me it wasn't steriods, It was something entirely different that changed me for life. Listen carefully, You will understand the importance of experiencing ALL Diane experienced, if you really want to find her.  You must go thru the exact same experience Diane did. Let me tell you a story. When I was 15, it was an ordinary day--
Quote:
I don't wanna hear your damn story. I couIdn't give a #($@.
I wanna know what happened to her.

Then you'll want to listen to the story.
You want to listen carefully. Sometimes the devil is in the details.
Now, once, when I was 15. . .
. . .it was an ordinary day. . .
... with my ordinary home and my ordinary life.
Something willed me to the edge of the balcony.
I wondered if I had the courage to jump.
I kept waiting for something to stop me. Anything.
But nothing did.
And so I jumped.
Everybody has had that thought at one time, but I did it. Why?

Quote:
Because you're a nut case. I wanna know where Diane is!

You're still not listening. Be careful. The answer will slip by you.
I lead a very normal life. I work. I have a home.
But then, one day. . . . .on vacation with my family in California. . . .
There's a little girl in the water!
Hurry! She's drowning!
I jumped in without thinking, just like when I was 15. I nearly drowned
Once again, nothing stopped me.
I didn 't want to save her however. I wanted to be a hero for my daughter.
I needed to hear her say "You're the bravest man in the world.
I love you, Daddy."
In that moment, she thought I was a god.
That would make most people feeI great, but I panicked.
-What does this have to do with Diane? -Diane was an experiment.
Saving a life made me a hero, but did it make me a good person?
I had to prove to myseIf beyond a doubt. . .
. . .that I was AS capable of evil as I was of heroism.
Real evil !!
The worst thing. Or I wouldn't deserve my daughter's love.
Quote:
You're *$*#(*$ insane.
You killed Diane.

You are missing the message Jeff ! For me, to kill is not the worst thing that I could imagine. There's more to know.
Quote:
Tell me what happened. I won't say a word.

Of course you won't Jeff
You won't because if you do you won't get what you need.
How much have you had to drink Jeff ? There are worse things than death, such
as your life the past three years. There comes a Time Jeff, when it's obvious you
won't give up.  You can't give up, your need to know keeps you from living your life.
You are prisoner to your need, your obsession. Now Back to the story Jeff.
My methods needed to be rethought.
And then. . my family gave me a littIe party on my birthday.
-Happy birthday. -Happy birthday, Barney. My wife said
Blow out the candles, Daddy. Shortly afterwards in hit me
There was a shrill scream !
What happened to me, changed me, I saw my daughter on the ground At that point I realized after my daughter fell off the balcony asking
-What happened, Daddy? -and saying, You fell off the balcony.
it dawned on me.
It wasn 't the lure that had to be stronger. I had to be weaker.

I must need to get a life too Kappy...hell, I read just about everything you write and out of the 8,000 entries you have 65 percent of them have something meaningful to offer.  That's not a bad percentage.  Keep on writing.  What would Samuel Pepys, Benjamin Franklin, Mark Twain, or Anne Frank have done?  Keep writing...

Bab's.   You of all people LOVE classic Horror !   Don't tell me you've never seen "The Vanishing" !   That was Keifer Sutherland in the car riding to Jeff Bridges secluded home in the woods where he buried "Jeffs" (Keifer sutherland) girlfriend alive.. but noone knows this yet... Next Barney (bridges) convinces Jeff the only way he can experience Diane is going thru exactly what she went thru...(unbeknownst to Jeff he drinks coffee laced with a drug)  Next Scene

Jeff wakes up in a box.  buried alive !  he has a match in his pocket,  lights it. and is trapped buried underground

Michael, this is how I get out've my head and relax.. LOL .  Believe it or not everything I say has some meaning to me, yet usually I just try to be light, have fun, and chat as I would if we were all at a bar, chilling some weekday night, and I was killing time..  That's what this place is to me, a bar of sorts. I always try to say something at least two people in here will get some sort've kick out've... Never all, but never none either..  Unless something affects me more directly..in which case I address the topic.  ANyway, I'm here without glasses, and everything's a blur... so bedtime for bonzo

Mike, I'm just bored, like Steven. I'm not trying to get Steven to stop posting and heck I hope he hits 67000 if he sees fit to do so. Just bored and ready to snooze. Good night all. I may actually go to bed this time.  :asleep:

Incidently,  I hope you ALL know what my first post is taken from. Don't tell me ANY of you aren't aware of this ?

I integrated my insanity into the ending monologue in the movie Psycho.

Quote:
Well,  there's more to it Michael,  It'd be difficult for me to explain it, but I have the time now, sitting here, typing away, so I might as well explain about him. As if I could do anything except just sit and stare, like one of his stuffed birds. Oh, they know I can't even move a finger and I won't. I'll just sit here and be quiet, just in case they do suspect me. They're probably watching me. Well, let them. Let them see what kind of a person I am. I'm not even gonna swat that fly. I hope they are watching. They'll see. They'll see and they'll know and they'll say, 'Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly

the theme being.  "People out've our minds"   LMAO

"I tell you, I saw that hand last night!  It was playing the piano again! Keep that hand away from me!"

Peter Lorre
"The Beast with Five Fingers"

(probably the most famous amputated hands playing the piano movie in cinema history)

Clarice M. Good morning. -

"Morning, Mr Crawford."

Sorry to pull you off the course at such short notice.  Your instructors tell me you're doing well.

"I hope so. They haven't posted any grades yet."

A job's come up and I thought about you. Not a job, really. More of an interesting errand. Sit down.

" Yes, sir."
