Some are leaving due to attrition, that can't be avoided. Some are gone because their schedules no longer permit, I can respect this. Some have quit posting and subbing either temporarily or entirely due to the new atmosphere. If this were a restaurant I wouldn't come back myself. Although, this is not a restaurant. This is a place where people come to enjoy a common interest. We have enjoyed this together in the past. We will enjoy it together in the future, on this website.

I know so little about what has happened but enough to say just drop it.

Offering an apology with jabs in the same post is not an apology. It only propogates the problem. Personal vendettas have gone on too long, anyone still willing to maintain this crap really needs to assess their own ways of doing things. Have we no self respect? I guess not. As a group we have proven that we are not any better than any website on the web. It is up to us as adults to take charge of this on our own and move past it. The mods don't have time tto pick through the threads and remove anything that is the slightest bit offensive. They barely have time to remove the or fix the bigger problems of this site. Prove your worth, be an adult and respect the fact that people have made mistakes and move on.

If you have a problem here, take a break. Don't perpetuate the problem or escalate it by proving that you are not mature enough to handle yourself reponsibly. Grow-up dammit!

I know I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said already. It seems that few are listening and few have the self-respect to show their maturity.

I mean no disrespect to anyone especially not to the users who have proven their maturity and have either given up or else never did, post crap on other people's subs.

i personally come to this sight for fun...i refuse to get involved with the politics and such that seem to be going on.

i don't know many of you personally, except isis, chuck2, texas gigi, singing squid, novocals and saturday singer.  we met novocals and saturday singer a few months ago and had a blast.

that is the reason i come into ks..to meet new people and be stupid.

i get in these moods where i want to submit a sub, but after reading a bunch of stuff in these threads, why should i.

i personally don't have an issue with anybody in here and it bothers me when i see people on line that are "prolific" posters get into heated debates about what's right and wrong, who said what, and who's on who's side.

i don't care...i love people and that's it.

i do a lot of reading of the posts, and if it is getting too serious, i just log off.

i don't post that much cause it seems, as an "outsider", there is a lot of animosity going on.

Er hmm.... IF I left, would you all throw a party? I leave.. then, i come back, leave and come back.. but i never publicly anounce my departure... and then, no one notices that I am gone, until I come back (Or, my ego comes back.. hmm), and am irritating, and you are all like... crap, GILLIAN's here.... (the first time I wrote publicly, i wrote Pubic-ly, and I had to go back and fix it. I find that funny because I have the sense of humor or a 12 year old boy...)

But, I like to leave, and lurk. You are all very interesting creatures.... like watching hamsters in a cage, really... don't you all do anything other than run around on that little wheel?! Seriously.. fall off already.

Gilly, we actually do notice when you don't post. We also notice when you are lurking but signed in.

Not taking offense to the hamsters in a cage metaphor but I'm sure it's occurred to you that you may belong to that group in someone else's eyes.

I use hotmail for the notifications of a post Hotmail pops up a little flag with each email recieved down in the lower right. Here lately Im getting multiple popups from KS It seems there is a plethora of posts esp this time of day. During this poast I have had 2 pop ups.

If I am a hamster, I am one hot  hamster.

Some are likely going because of the arguing and fighting in here as well. As of today, I will own up to being one of the offenders of this as well....  This personal dislike, and private issue stuff REALLY should stay out've the rooms, AND the showcase IMHO... Is it a full moon ?

A little venting is cool, working out a problem online because PM isn't an option for whatever reason can be expected. It's a good thing if this all leads to a resolution. As for never posting anything negative, that may be hard to avoid as this is a forum full of people who are artistically iinclined.

In theater we learn to let the Dancers vent and then move on with rehearsal. When they are done venting sometimes csomething very important is discovered. They were amoung the most artisitc lot I've worked with.

Apologize or not, it's cool. Just move on and don't carry the vendictive attitude on to someone else.ll think that any of this should be avoided, I can respect that.

In a crowd, it isn't always possible to avoid stepping on toes.

I myself am not innocent of bringing drama into this forum. I will do what I can to avoid it in the futre.

I have made my apologies and moved on. I am fortunate that no one here knows me well enough to know what a truly despicable person I am. (not true)

i won't tell anyone, i promise...no one in this thread will hear those words from me....no sireee....i'm not gonna at this juncture...wouldn't be prudent

I've been welcomed by some cuties in my newbie forum. You don't need to welcome me, it might be too much stress for you. I've been reading the threads for a coouple of months and you seem to almost quit a lot.

I've been posting old stuff at this "other" site, but for some reason, I just don't care for the place to be honest.  There is not much in the way of forums, the web layout is too cute for me (why that should bother me I have no idea), and maybe because this site was the first I found and joined I still like it here better (the only one advantage site "x" has is they have Windows player and the sound quality is a tad better) but I think I'll just stay here.  I really can't see the point in abandoning something I've been associated with for quite a while and enjoy.  There are still many people here I enjoy listening to in SS and reading some of their thoughts and ideas in the forums that I find interesting.

As mentioned earlier, I see a lot more "new" names appearing in SS and a lot of good voices too...

As for myself in interacting in this forum, if something yanks my cord, I have made a vow to myself to just log out and do something else then come back later when I've regained my senses!
