i bought this great big bag of chicken and dumplings Come to find out its uncoooked . The directions were 5-6 hours in a crock pot. I got it in a big covered pan on the stove on medium .... Dont have a clue how long it will take or when to put in the dumplings...Then it calls for milk will beer work?

Beer works in everything.....
I have cooked crock pot stuff on the stove before it works...Just cust the time in half or less...

Come to think about it you prolly don't have 2 to 3 hours, I'd crank it up for a while...You'll know when it's done..It prolly only has to cook the chicken...Shouldn't take long...
Or just drink the beer and you won't be hungry after 4 or 5

 I normally dont have an appetite Then its been so hot...
That stuff on the stove is putting out an aroma Its got my mouth watering Im sittin here starving to death. And waitin.......

Were you sitting on your hands again?? I wa sin that habit for a while.....It sucks because all the blood goes to that one foot and it really disables your hands...

I forget where it was but I told this guy I just saw a sign in a little cafe window.
Chicken & Dumplings All You Can Eat $2.75
He says wat is chicken and dumplings? I said lets go.... He ate and ate and ate. He said my god I aint never had anything like this .....
Chicken was getting tender so I added the dumplings and put it back up to medium to get a boil goin now back to low.... Didnt add the beer just a little water....
