Hey! I resemble that remark.

I think quite a few of us in here, hang here for that very reason Chuck.  This is a haven for "inner-children" to play around in.  Look at a lot of the stuff that goes on... Greed regarding rank, and comments.  It's no different than the Sunday School kids that "all want the gold star". Some of the spats, etc.  If the tragedy that goes on in this forum is the worst thing that happens to members here this summer, they are VERY lucky !

Dear Blog,

Today alone.  22 Spam mailings in my spam folder, of which 22 are various languages trying to sell me Viagra. FOR WHAT ?  What the heck do I need Viagra for ?  To increase my WPM average typing ?  Anyway, it's about 12:45 AM here, and I'm going to get an early night

Einy meeny miney mo... Should I take an Ativan, Klonopin, Benedryl, Meprobamate, Oxycontin to crash, or no ?

OK,  Ativan it is.

Need to get rid of this nervous energy somehow,  walking didn't do much... Anyway, (Hey blog,  shut the light off in the kitchen before you crash. it was bad enough I had to get out've the computer chair twice today.  I'm getting too old for rigorous exercise.  That stuff can kill you,  you can have a heart attack)

Try chamomile tea just before you go to bed, it could work, why shouldn't it work.

I used to take L-Tryptophan before that was pulled from the shelves due to a tainted batch years back.  It worked.  I don't know why they don't put that back on shelves.  OK,  back to work.

Ther is another formula for that and it's legal. 5-HTP or 5-hydoxytryptophan, on store shelves now.

Have you tried trazodone to help you sleep? It is a prescription non-narcotic medication first developed as a mild antidepressant but the major side effect of drowsiness superceded it's efficacy as an antidepressant so they usually prescribe this for sleep problems. I myself, with the chronic sleep problems (heretofore previously only afflicting vampires and certain species of barn owls [see American Medical Journal, chapt. 6, pp. 3632, para. 6, "Dracula's Complaint"]) find it works fairly well for me with only the occasional "bad cycles" but a lot better than I had been years ago.  It's non-habit forming and regarded as a rather "innocuous" medication.

The only downside I have had with trazodone A.K.A. desyrel, is ltely it has left me groggy in the morning. That wasn't a problem until it began to last until noon. It doesn't do this to most people though. If I had to chose between that and a prescription sleep aid, I would definitely choose trazodone.

It has never been known to make New Englanders drive into a security barrier late at night.

I don't take stuff often at all.  I don't want to take something every night. When I need something I have plenty...  In fact, I just ate Dinty Moore Beeft Stew,  I'm counting down til I'm totally unconscious and slobbering.... The MSG in that stuff ALWAYS put's me out !   Problem is, I have too much to do still tonight in real still to pass out for a few hours.   MSG, (typtophan- Turkey, Ice Cream), and Carbs will knock me out sometimes... At times coffee puts me to sleep too. At night it always will

Anyway, Have to run.
