I'm glad you found the time to post a couple places though, cause from what all I've heard lately... I'm sure you've been bombarded with tons of PM's. Now maybe they'll stop. And in my opinion... it's kinda sad that we even need you to step in and say "BEHAVE!!". We should be able to handle little things on our own like adults, and leave you to your, uh... scripting and all that shtuff that I don't understand anyhow.

Just adding a quick 2cents. I really hope this all gets fixed. Since coming here, I have missed almost all of the problems. Fortunatly. But I have chatted with and heard from so many inteligent people, that it seems almost unbelievable that this goes on. I love this whole site. Let's not tear it apart. I for one, would REALLY really miss it.

I can tell just from checking back at the SS board since the last hour or so that very few submissions are being made today thus far...

SO LET ME UNDERSTAND?  There should be a group of 10 people on the site who get to decide who gets reprimanded and who doesn't???? They will continue to threaten management with their departure if they don't get THEIR way. When ONE of this GROUP of "ladies" decides to insult another member, it will be overlooked by the entire GROUP but if someone outside of this GROUP decides that something should be said to the original person who insulted someone; then the entire GROUP will GANG up on the person who tried to defend a complete stranger??? When the member who tried to defend the abused person defends himself against the remarks from the GANG, the GANG then goes running to PHIL to have THAT member banned. Is that the way that the GROUP wants this site to run??? Seems a little one sided to me, Vettelady. It reminds of the O.J. Simpson jury. In the SS Jury's eyes Markie will always be the innocent victim; not the person who started all of this with his arrogance. His bragging about how "real" people's opinions mean more than people on the internet, about all of his accolades from church and contests and on and on and on. How the rating sytem here was all Bull$hit because someone didn't give poor Markie a perfect score.  Markie is like the Queen Bee who has all his little worker Bees do his dirty work for him while he sits back on his Queenly Throne. If they don't do what the Queen Bee wants, the Queen Bee might stop giving away the free backings and recording software tips. It's one big happy hive of killer bees who attack any invader who might try to defend someone that the Queen gave a little sting to. When the HIVE realizes that it can't CONTROL the entire site they pack up and leave for what they refer to as greener pastures in hopes of taking over another location or in hopes of getting management at SS to cave in to their demands. They're nothing more than poor singing internet terrorists. They want to find a place where they can control everything and where everyone lies to everyone else about what great voices they have. What's funny to me is that this all started because Markie the Queen Bee got upset because someone had the nerve to comment on a song of his. Many people have pointed out that Markie didn't want ANY comments on his song and that is was just for fun. Well, then why didn't Markie complain when the comments were positive comments????? He obviously knows how to submit a song that prevents people from leaving comments so why didn't he do it on the song that Angie critiqued????? Because he really thrives on getting fluffy little comments from his worker bees and his drone bees that are at his beck and call. That's why. Now a bunch of the GANG have left nasty comments as they leave this place because they couldn't take over and run things their way. One little fly in their ointment and they all went home crying to their mommies when all they had to do was get their QUEEN BEE to apologize to Angie on PAGE ONE.... but if they would have done that, Markie would have felt betrayed by the HIVE. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. HE WAS WRONG and He should have admitted it to EVERYONE. By not doing so, he created this storm and he sits in the background while everyone tries to find a solution. He even asks Angie to tell me that he apologized to her instead of just saying it himself. He is such a pompous arrogant man. I was accused of being taken in by others to do their bidding and I don't even know these people, Yet the entire GANG has been taken in by the sweet talking soft singing Queen Bee. I love the Irony almost as much as the hypocrisy of this GROUP.

Well, no disrespect meant by ME either, but from what I see...... everyone is just making it snowball by keeping it going. And, I have alot of friends here who PM and email me daily... I DO know what's going on now.

I mean, so somebody is making stupid rude comments... Do the rest of you REALLY believe what he's saying?  Truthfully Rita, Mark is a friend of mine too, I always listen to him when I'm in there, I love his singing, and he's sent me songs as well as all you other people.... But he is talented enough that he really should not take any of this to heart. The person doing it has ALREADY ADMITTED that he said everything he did out of spite... so, pretty much - he doesn't beleive what he's writing either.

So, ignore his posts. My gosh, they can't go on forever. He himself would have came out looking the bad guy for doing all the slamming.... but now, with all that's going on, it's making everyone else look just as childish.

I see nothing at all wrong with everyone subbing a song under "L" to support Mark, and show that you stand behind him. Heck, QowboyVern was run out of there for alot worse reason than Mark was. I'm not gonna post that reason here, out of respect for him- I don't know if he'd want me to.... and Tony left because a couple were saying his guitar playing was fake.... Point is, if everyone ganged up every time something like this happened, we'd be WORSE than the middle east in there. This stuff would never stop.

Somebody has got to take the first step in ending it. It's like an LA gang war... the more one side retaliates, the more the other side is gonna feel the need to, and on and on.

And as for my comment about Phil- He is NOT here to be our babysitter, people assuming he IS has finally made him come in here to speak out. He can't handle all these little squabbles for us, that's not his job. And I'm sure he doesn't want or need the drama anyhow. I think we are ALL old enough- and should be mature enough- to resolve this on our own..... and to..... BEHAVE.  Phil may add some "new rules" or "options" in the future, but he's not here to solve personal issues that should never have escalated like this to begin with.

Good god, think of all the outsiders who never post or sub either here or in SS... but come here EVERY DAY to listen to songs.... I'm sure half of them have deserted this site already, most likely rolling their eyes at us.  

But now, what's been said has been said, what's been done has been done- people have shown their loyalty... and everyone can see where everyone stands. So... it needs to end. I know it can seem serious Rita... I've been slammed on subs before, more than once, and once I even slammed back. (shame on me.. but I did) And it did hurt my feelings a bit, nobody who sings likes to be told they sound like shyt.... but that was 2 years ago, and I'm still here singing. It all was washed under the bridge, and I'm even civil with this person now, cause we got past it. I did not allow friends to bash that person back, I did not hold a vendetta against them, I did not PM Phil to make them stop.... I handled it, and it went away.

I do not dislike ANYONE who is involved in this, I'm not gonna stop listening to any of them (though... he he... maybe they'll do that to ME next after this)... I just wish it would end. Cause it's certainly NOT gaining anybody anything. It's wasting time that could be spent subbing and listening.  The points have all been proven... so let it rest.

Had I submitted in the right place, I might have been involved somehow. I am not sure I would have been as responsible as Charmin recommends. After reading her post, it seems a lot clearer to me.

Personal responsibility and maturity. If we all let it drop, that will be the end of it.

I think alot of people are probably at work Michael, at least that's where I would be right now if I weren't on vacation.

This is tough for me. I was kicked out of the boyscouts for not playing along. I've learned a lot since then.

I never got "kicked out" of anything. (yes, I was a girl scout 5th- 7th grade)

BruceFan - to set the record straight....this isn't about Mark, this is about your continued behavior on his subs. I don't care who you are doing it to. I just happen to listen to Mark and get tired of seeing your BS on his subs. Whoever you did it to, I would react the same way. I just think you are being ridiculous and yes I admit I messed up by going to your sub - but after the repeated attacks, I just got fed up. I apologize for doing the same thing, but I really wish it would stop. You are missing the point of this whole thing and calling us Mark's "mommies". First of all, Mark never came to me - I just saw the comments. They are rude and out of line. Any comments like this just don't belong on the subs and thats why I'm apologizing - because I stooped to your level. There is no sense to any of this, and it just makes you look bad, and I made myself look bad by doing the same - it doesn't affect Mark at all...it just gains him more support. Plain and simple, I don't like what you are doing, but will just ignore it all in the future. Again, no matter who you were trashing, I'd feel the same way...it just happens to be Mark. Faile was out of line critiquing Mark to begin with...just for fun means just that. If I want critique, I send my songs to people I trust who like the kind of music I sing. I don't consider myself to be much of a singer, but I have a blast doing what I do...or did till you turned into a one man wrecking crew. I know I've given you too much power, so I'm taking it away again and will not react to anything you do in the future. Based on your actions, I guess you don't get much attention in your real life that you have to take it out on someone in here to get your thrills. This is the last I'm going to say on this subject, but I'm just asking you to stop. You're a great singer and there is no need for this stuff.
