You know what it is hard to find? COFFEE ICE CREAM!  Not this Ben & Jerry's mocha whatever they call it or any of that fancy stuff, I mean just PLAIN, REGULAR, ORDINARY coffee ice cream.  COFEE ICE CREAM.  Bring on the coffee ice cream! I could live my life eating nothing but cofee ice cream and A&W Diet Cream Soda (and CREAM SODA--there's another scarce item!)

You know...after a week at the beach I have come back and I now realize...that you people talk too much...and phatrat never changes...  LMAO

I'm from Minnesota myself so I'm not a native Texan. I lived in Duluth (Born and raised) Maplewood, St Paul, Center City/Chisago Lakes etc. I would take Bridgeman's ice cream (from those that still exist) over Blue Bell. Sorry Chuckster.

Bridgemann's was running into financial problems and joined up with Embers (remember them?) for a while...I think they lost Ember's and now go under the original name but there are fewer of them....there's one a mile from us...

I grew up with Bridgemann's Double Rich Chocolate Shakes with the cookie and whipped cream on the top. Even my late Grandpa always got a big kick out of Bridgemann's. We used to occasionally pick him up something. Ah, Minnesota! I still follow the Vikes and the Twins. I'm hoping the Twins can get into at least the wild card or should Detroit fall on their face with 50 games left, win the division. C'mon twinkies!

hey guys.. I'm gonna go off ice cream for a sec.. and jump back on topic.. then return you to the ice cream talk..

but who's ever idea it was to pm people and ask them to "JOIN FORCES" and sub only "L" subs.. well.. you'll do a really good job of turning off a lot of people that come here to listen to songs AND to leave comments and talk to other people and also some would like to receive comments as well..

That's kind of like going to a karaoke bar and tieing everyone's hands behind their backs and telling them they shouldn't clap for people up there singing

but hey.. I guess PowertoSS people can't seem to come out of their masquarade and show us who they really are.. they've hidden behind a professional artist's song in their sub in 2 subs they've done this.. and now they continue on by pm'ing people under this psuedo-name. WHICH.. btw.. I'm pretty sure it is not kosher with the Admins of SS to be subbing songs that are NOT your own work.. AND your IP is tracked and they can determine WHO you are really .. not just your new name you are hiding behind instead of using your own voice to stand up for what you "really believe in".

And yet they can garner up quite a following.. wow.. that is scary to me that I can see so many of my fellow singers and friends willingly follow someone blind like that..  also goes to show that if people aren't questioning who this person really is then maybe they aren't willing to hear the other side of the story for whatever this "cause" is about.. they heard the side they want to hear and chose to ignore the possibilty of another side of things that could be true.

anyways.. I'm off my soapbox.. there are other karaoke sites that actually like when people leave comments I think I'll find one and don't have a front page of all listen only subs.

back to your regularly scheduled flavored ice cream attack

Sorry. I think I'm upset over the Singer's Showcase garbage that never dies. I wanted to relax and spend some time in the forum this weekend but I let myself get involved with that whole waste of time, which was stupid.  Maybe a beer is in order. Sorry Foxe. I'm a baaaad man sometimes.  :no:

Try not to let it get further than skin deep.  It's going to ensue until some changes are made. My purpose in getting involved is to try to throw out some ideas as to options. Sometimes change doesn't happen until people are fed up.  Yet my guess is this issue will popup time and time again.  After the first few dozen times, it was easy to often just walk past the rumble and not even read it.  Like all else, It's the people, not the actual features.  Ideally Critique is a great feature.  Unfortuneately a few think Critique is the Latin word for "attack", "bash", "tell others they suck", etc.  LOL

I went on SS today because I was told of a sub I needed to hear.  That's when I saw all the Listens Only.......had to search out a bit to find out what it was all about.  But I for one am for anything that supports Unity between people and SS sure needs it.  The ugly comments are still coming.  I commented on a sub and there was one right there below mine...How do you just ignore that?  So whoever this person is.....I don't support the fact they are subbing other artist's material but I think their heart is in the right place.  So I had no problem subbing a "Listen Only" in support of the people on SS coming together in unison.

And Foxe...You are right....People should know the "other" side of the story.  But regardless of what stories are told there is no excuse for someone to continue with their harrassment.  Enough is enough.   This person reminds me of a stalker.   The law wouldn't allow someone to do this to you in person so why should they be allowed to do it here.
