My sweet Peter, I am in agreement with you...we PAY this site for us to sing and I am so upset with this whole matter. I, too would love to be able to continue adding my sons works, as well as mine and I think 'SS' better learn a valuable lesson here in this place because they are losing a lot of people who are frustrated with the 'ignorance' of some unwanted people on here. It is a shame how some are so harsh and humiliating my friends, as well as me...I don't hold my tongue in anylonger, I learned how to speak my mind and hopefully things will get better or else the only song we will be hearing on this site is: 'The Sounds of Silence'  :(

Thank you Peter, I do know what you mean by saving space, but afterall they should inform me (us) when they do take away our pictures...thank you for your input, because I have not heard from the mods nor the adminstrator, Phill for over 9 weeks , he was suppose to find out and help me change the pic that I have on my pages to the colored one that I am waving- to no avail, still awaiting word, or should I say, his aid in changing it. I have no little white box at the bottom of the 'modify', I cannot modify anything because it is simply not there? A friend has been helping me and wrote  a letter to Phill also and he, too has never received a message !!! I am all for a PROTEST !!! I am ready to RUMBLE !!! I've had it ;( It's like there is no more humanity in here, no respect for one another- for some that is... and the lack of laughter and fun like we had before some have ruined this place  :(

What you did not see or what I hopefully removed prior to anyone seeing was the pornographic images that were displayed as well as other inapprpriate images. I spend approximately 2-3 hours each morning going through and cleaning up the database. This is only a fraction of the items that I work on. In the original coding the ability to place HTML script was supposed to have been installed. Unforunately it wasn't and I since have had to re-write the coding.

Besides - Singers Showcase is about the songs and the singing.

Further, We have a photo gallery where users may upload pictures. You even have a private gallery which there is a link under your names for everyone to see images.

I am sorry that a few do seem to spoil stuff for others - I make every attempt to prevent the experience from being ruined by these few. However, I currently am working (as ususal) on some coding that may help improve the SS area for users.

DEE - BTW - I had responded and requested from both parties to send me the image. It must be a problem with the image because it is rather simple to modify your information in SS.

AS FAR AS A REVOLT! PLEASE DON'T!
THIS WOULD ONLY CAUSE MORE TROUBLE.
KARAOKE SCENE OWNS THE SITE - I JUST TRY TO KEEP IT OPERATIONAL.

Phill, I hope you are not referring any of my pictures were in any nature of ponographic material what- so- ever. Because if you are I will indeed  take further action on this matter. I have never nor will I ever submit any material that is not appropriate on this site- I have always been one who loves the people I have come to know and given this place unity and peace and humanity and I am so offended right now that I just don't have it in me to want  to sing and submit anything  :(  The sadness that YOU brought to me makes my love cup (heart) on EMPTY and I cannot bear to see anyone see me as being that TYPE of person because I am NOT nor will I ever be !!! If I have to send you s all the pictures that I have ever put on this site and not one is in any way ponographic in nature, I will be happy to !!! But don't you ever use my name 'DEE or DENISE (my given name) with the words PONOGRAPHY again !!!  There is enough crap that is going on in here that I just don't want to be any part of it . I love singing, I truly miss singing LIVE but I also enjoy this place very much and YOU know that PHILL, been here three years ago stopped then came back again. THINK before YOU speak or type the words that are with my name...  I am sure that my friends will attest to this. I am a LADY with the utmost respect for others and I deserve some respect in return. I would not dare to submit any pictures of that nature, that is not what I ever intended to do or to be seen here. I am in this house to enjoy myself as well as my friends. I do agree with you there were a couple paintings that were in total nudity as I had said on one of my songs I felt that this did not belong on a family site and I , for one would never ever plan on submitting any material of that nature. I submit my sons artwork, as well as mine, and my photography pictures of Peace, joy, happiness, etc... to make some people at ease here. I have always encouraged people,not once did I ever discourage anyone, if I am in that catagory of such pictures, then I know what I must do, keep my money and get out of here before people do think that I submit ponography... Just take a survery and everyone will indeed tell you that I never have submitted anything in that way. The pictures I submit with my songs were either from the true artist (which some of them are my dear friends) and pictures of Jesus Christ...NOT once did I ever submit any nudity or anything within that catagory. I know SS is about singing, however a lot of people respect what pictures I do sunmit with my songs. I am not trying to be difficult , but it seems to me that you were only chosing the pictures that I submit(submitted). I find no excuse what-so-ever to add a picture of the real artist, as we pay to sing here . As a revolt, I have no plans on doing this, it would not solve anything anyway. But I want YOU to make it perfectly clear that I never once submitted anything that was ponographic, the only pictures I had submitted were dolphins, the Lord Jesus Christ, pictures of the real artists, waterfalls, pictures of nature, and myself...as  I stated on my post, pretty soon the only sounds we will hear is a song called: " The Sounds of Silence"...and if it must come from me, so be it, I'll be glad to leave if I am being accused of such crap !!! That's not my way of living...I come here to sing for children who are blind, need encouragement, listen to the many beautiful artist that I have come to know, etc... NOT to ever, ever post anything derogortory in any manner ...You should know me by now, I would think. I always ask for peace and serenity within this place and that is all I have ever done. Just listen to my songs, then maybe you'll see that I am here for just fun and plesaure singing and listening...I take offense to what you state, and I will not tolerate that from you or anyone.

As for NOT hearing from you, the last time was about 6 weeks ago and I (we) both sent you the picture of the colored one of me smiling- it is in my albulm...you told me to just go to modify...well as I explained this in detail, there for some unknown reason unbenounced to me, there is no modify box or anything like that when I go to my name (profile). So, therefore there is a problem with the site and not me! Now how do you want me to send you the picture that I am trying to update on my pages (songs)? I simply do not have a modify button, box, whatever you call it, it is NOT there. so I cannot modify anything... PS-May God Bless You Phill  :(

I don't think Phil was referring to you regarding porno pic's ! He was just talking in general about the whole site and no one in particular. So I wouldn't worry about it. I have found I was still able to post a painting or pic today, so maybe its all back to normal !

If anyone read that I was referring to any member in particular - had submitted inappropriate materials - I APOLOGIZE!

SOME members who joined for the sole purpose of submitting those type of materials was to whom I was referring! There are individuals out there that, for what ever reason, are just that way...

The ability to upload any HTML scripting should have been removed from the SS site and all scripts & coding. I believe that I have corrected this now.

The purpose of SS is not to display your images or providing links to external sites. SS is for members to submit songs for everyone to enjoy.

Again there is a Photo Gallery that you can use to submit images.

There's a HUGE number of new individuals joining the KS forum all the time with websites, and links that take a reader directly to pornography. It's a time consuming task just to try to nip this type thing at the bud.
