It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the dog in the bun! :yum:

Well Sharon, Geeg and I had fun last night, though my performance was mostly mediocre at best but that is what I aspire to.
Sitting with a group of friends it almost went without saying that when one leaves the table the rest must watch the drink. We did put a lot of stuff in your wine last night but we always removed it before you got back to the table out of consideration.

That is so funny, I just watched that movie about 2 weeks ago...I have it on DVD!!!!
Did you get the memo???LOL

Yes, I did see that shoe in my wine glass, i was peeking around the corner and saw that. I just thought of that as a little extra flavoring...What got me was when Phatrat soaked up all the wine in my glass with his boxers.....That's when i knew I had to stop........

My wife has had that look a few times when I came to bed. Hmm. (and I was about to slip her something)

You still may wish to consider that you HAD been drinking, it was likely hot, you might've been talking while seated hyperventilating. You like stood up quickly, went to sing, DID have a drop in blood pressure, DID get a dizzy spell while following the lyrics, you might've been rundown for some reason, dehydrated, and tired.. You probably started to pass out on stage, and before you could realize got a VERY sudden period of fright, adrenaline kicked in, and without even being aware of it, being predisposed you had a panic attack. I do believe this is what happened to you. You never did tell us how hot it was in the bar that night, how long you had been seated, how quickly you might've jumped out've your barstool, after being seated for how long, having two-three drinks ? Just two days ago, I got up suddenly out've this computer chair, went into the bathroom, got dizzy, and lost my balance.. Had I been onstage, and not in the comfort of my own home, and unfamiliar with the phenomenon of bradycardia as we get older, hyperventilation, heat, dehydration, and panic, I'd have likely panicked because I'd have lost control, and my body in a rundown state, would've received a sudden surge of adrenaline flooding which is enough to leave anyone shakey, weak, and scared (@$%!) without them even realizing what happened for a good day to follow... The disorientation you felt in the office of the bar is VERY standard.. When we are predisposed to certain conditions, they often come over us like a reflex. Why the Dr at the hospital didn't even mention this to you, is likely because certain medical Dr's just don't consider these things. Just consider conditions such as how long you were seated, how quickly you got up, how much you DID have to drink considering age, body weight, and other factors. What else was going on in your life during that time.. and how a dizzy spell, and feeling that you are "going to lose control" is a number one spontaneous trigger for autonomic panic reaction. It happens before we even have a chance to think about it.. We are predisposed. It's like a reflex. Hence the term, "Spontaneous Panic episode", we never really know what hit us. Medical people that have these rush to the hospital thinking they are dying. It's NOT so obvious.

The temp in the bar was comfortable at the time, not hot, not cold...I had been up and down talking to other people..Ye, i am a social butterfly floating around all the time...(that could be the reason i know everyone that comes in... ) Had just been in the back talking to the owner about the website...Actually new memory just came to me righ this moment...i was in the back with the owner when the KJ called me...I had been standing and looking over his shoulder at the website cause it was doing this weird thing with some of the pics...So I walked briskly to the stage grabbing my drink off the bar along the way, cause I always take a sip during the instrumental breaks and with Total Eclipse there is a long one...And it's a hard song on my vocals....
HMMM...where was I at?? I had 2.5 tall drinks, one shot of alchohol to approx 16 oz of 7-up...I arrived at the bar at 5:45 and the episode happend approx 9:00pm...Certainly did not drink enough in that amount of time to have gotten drunk....I know that I can't drink Gin because after drinking one drink t is like I have been doing several shots in a short period....
It could be very likely that I had some type of panic attack..This one would be different than the ones I had in the past..But then they aren't always the same are they.....At least in my experience every panic attack has been different...i actually hyperventilated at a grocery store once and passed out..I was by myself...It was weird...It was a bad experience, so that is all I have to say about that....
Anyway, not sure if I said earlier in the thread or not...I have a physical scheduled for next week. I plan on talking to the doctor about this and seeing if he can do some allergy test or somehting to find out about the gin thing, cause I just need to know.....
I am actually staying away from any alchohol for a while....gotta get checked out by the doc and just need to...cause well it's kinda bad for you....But then I don't drink heavily anyway...heck I'm Presbyterian...It's all good in moderation, right??? LOL
Gotta ge up and sing, they have now skipped me 2 or 3 times and I am getting jealous... See ya'll later, alligators
And yes, I can sing when I don't drink...Ok, I am back...sang my stirring rendition of Chic's Dance, Dance Dance....and you know what, noone danced but me..But now I am just rambling so I am definaately going to go now...see ya!!!

Along with your comment about gin I would recommend staying away from these drinks and maybe trying rum or blends like Seagrams 7. It is nothing to be alarmed about but just your body giving subtle hints. If you are really worried I would some blood work done It is just something to be aware of when partying. I have big problems with these myself, big time.

Do you remember how long your drink was unattended? Who was sitting on either side of you? Any creeps hit on you, before this happened? Any shady looking guys around. I know you don't have my picture. Just the facts ma'am.
