I want to do this as a mass apology to everyone who is here for reasons other than my own, and to apologize to anyone I thought was being anything less than respectful toward me. I don't want to give names because I might forget somebody and you know who you are anyway.
You folks are stuck with me for the next few days throughout the daytime as I am working to convert a friends disks to a less degrading format than the one he originally purchased.
In essence this is just another carp thread, feel free to mention it if redundancy doesn't bother you, or mearly agree with me.
If, in the future, anyone becomes annoyed with what I have to say, understand that I respect you or the subject enough to give an oppoing opinion.
I have to include this because I may not have enough above. Fluff, fluff, fluff, fluff, fluff, fluff, fluff, and fluff.
Sincerely, Chuck the second. AKA Duece.
Yes that really is my name, at least part of it.

Chuck, I am only annoyed by the fact that you feel compelled to mention how annoying you are. Other than that, everything's fine! :)

Maybe I take the self-deprecating thing a little too far. No I didn't misspell, I really used the wrong word on purpose.

When I changed my name again yesterday, I really was hoping to get the name Chuck. That name was taken by someone who signed up and only posted one single post in a thread. I respect the fact that the name muct be kept in case of the user's return, I just wanted to whine about it.
Now I want some cheese.
ME, me, me, me, me, me, me.
forgot this too, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I.
Ah, much better now.

I used to apologize too. Now I have a different outlook.
So, I'm going thru the "terrible Twos", sue me !
Try an experiment Chuck, Rather than worrying what others think about your content, converse to make this fun for *YOU*.. That's what matters. The rest will fall in place. People can adapt to just about anything. (of course they haven't heard me trying to sing yet). You don't OWE anybody anything except some amount of decency. If this works for you, and you are being you than you truly belong, if you find you can't fit in being you, it's nobodys fault, don't try people pleasing in a room this big, bullys will jump you. If you make this a fun experience for you, make a few friends, tolerate about 60%, you're probably where most are. If you don't bend over backwards, assuming you don't feel you get along, there can be no regrets. Just have fun. It's not fun in these rooms when you care too much what others think. Make your fun here #1 (at least in the "Discussion room", recognising that you don't want to get TOO personal, That's generally not a good thing for any of us to do). Assuming something somebody posts IS blatantly shallow, so what ?Blatently shallow, is often preferable to my type of "intense" anyway, assuming this WERE in fact blatently shallow, but you do what YOU want to do, and screw others opinions of you. Be selfish. Don't allow this to become an additional source of tension for you. That defeats the purpose of having an internet account, There shouldn't be effort conversing in here IMHO...

We can always count on Chuck for our minimum daily requirement of CARP and our daily non-essential brain nutrients!
