It's a grand idea but I believe several folks have been a little "uneasy" participating in things when it becomes "too technical".  As one objective always is to educate ourselves in becoming better musicians, it might be best to take a soft approach to some subjects ("a little at a time") rather than "laying out the works" which, understandably could be intimidating for a layperson, who, even though blessed with talent and a good voice, may be somewhat intimidated by.  An anology of this is why I suck at math....while the teacher was revving on up to geometry in the curriculum, I was still struggling with algebra, so therefore I just gave up on ever thinking I could become proficient in math--and I still am not. (PS: I still can add up simple sums like 4 + 4 if it's okay to answer in a ballpark figure!)

For all of us to become beter musicians we must first delve into the spectrum of quantititive physics and stare at it a few times then come back to rectify the situation with as many big words as possible. I find that works in most cases. But don't get intimidated by it because it isn't Algebra, just ABCs.

(and stop doing addition at the ballpark! Watch the game. It's what's for dinner!) :talk:

Michael, I am very sorry about including your recording quality the last time I tried to critique you. I was mistaken in thinking that you might want to know about that too. In my past the recording quality was very important to the person or group presenting the music. It never occurred to me that things were different here.

I also wasn't asked for the last critique. A little embarrassed about just doing it.

Only misspelled three words this time. Thank goodness for spellcheck in a forum where grammar, punctuation and spelling is more important than the content. :D
