I was supposed to go shopping but dang.... Lightening bolts all over now.... swirling clouds every color of the spectrum... Hail the size of the astrodome.. The temperature dropped 170 degree's in the last 5 minutes alone.  School's are already cancelling due to the prediction of icey roads, and snowfall accumulations over the course of the night until early AM hours... (Although there's no school tomorrow, this caught me as strange)   This is what people like about New England weather ?  I just don't get it    (I better get my quartz heaters out've storage)

I wonder if a fetish can involve getting one's temperature taken. :D

It depends on what you consider a fetish....It's proven that your tongue is the most temperature sensitive organ in your body....So if you decide to use it for such, one might say you're a freak whereas a guy like me would say you are only attempting to be accurate. :D

In Steven's case, I would flop my hand on his forehead and be done with it....I don't think it would be wise to insert anything in Steven that wasn't disposable. LMAO

I got one of those nifty infrared thermometers that looks like a pistol....You just point it and pull the trigger....it is accurate out to 20 feet.....That is the absolute safest way to take Kappy's temp. LMAO ....Even then I would wash my hands afterwards. :O

This weather conversation gave me a brilliant idea for "mood wallpaper"....just coat your white wallpaper with a 60/50 combination of water and dissolved cobalt chloride (an excellent chemical moisture indicator), slap it on your walls and on rainy days you will have blue wallpaper and on sunny days, pink.

Remember, you heard this soon-to-be-the-latest craze here first!

Sorry, Pink wallpaper would not work too well in Texas but I wish you luck.

I like pink. It's like red but not quite.

We hope to sell the house soon and that color might be a problem for staging the house.

Psychologically, pink is supposed to have a very soothing effect on you...they tell us (at least in theory) it reminds one of being in the womb. I'd say pink and cobalt blue are my favorite colors although for decor I have this thing for mint green ("institutional green"); I devised a custom blend of paint made up for my bedroom that I bestowed the title "Monopoly Board Green" on....always associated that color with "being clean and crisp" for some reason....
