A lot of businesses are feeling the heat. Hot weather like this is usually
temporary, so most places AC can't keep up. We went out to eat the other night
and we were sweating eating our food. The restaurant manager was apologizing
for the inconvenience. Their AC wasn't cutting it.

They SHOULD be coming down starting tomorrow evening, however coming down still means over 90...  I just try to deal with it...Have no other option..Modify behaviour accordingly, and treat it like any other similar affliction, or an illness
It's just a fact for me.  When it's over 100 degree's in this swamp area I live in, I'm ill...

You know it's funny you said that. almost everyone around here is talking about not feeling well. I swear it's the heat!

The air quality also becomes dangerous around here.  It's never JUST the heat.. Those of us prone to respiratory illness feel it.. Those of us affected by barometric pressure feel it...etc..  This is potentially dangerous when mixed with alcohol, and testosterone in a crowded bar situation... I wouldn't go out at this stage in my life..  When I was  younger I did, and got into ALOT of trouble drunk AND sober.. Functioning when you are uncomfortable isn't as easy..Coupled with having a tougher time breathing, and "Illness" is an appropriate term

So far the heat has effected the crowd in kind of a downer way.
No one is breaking out in fights or anything. It is just hard to get the crowd going when they feel like they are sitting soup and breathing in jello.

My last 3 nights have been really good.  I'm a little suprised, but maybe they just wanted a cool place to hang out.   No pun intended.

Exactly.  anybody that does maint. or construction work on a day like today, or even just has to sit in a hot location, will want a place with functioning A/C, and a "cold one" afterwards.. Well many will anyway...
