I'm still here, just have not had anything to say.

It is also the busyest time of the year.

I have only monday's off, most of my time is been spent preparing for the next gig.

Things are well, I'm doing more karaoke than ever. After 2 years of only 1 or 2 night a week I'm back up to 3 regular, and the private karaoke parties are rolling in more than normal. The second system is running 4 nights a week and I'm working on getting a 3rd together.

The hack KJ's are falling apart and there is alot of work available. The prices are still not what the should be but bar owners are starting to pay a little more.

OK, Haven't seen you in close to two months.  I thought you might be Pittsburgh Pat pulling our leg here.

Rob, cancel my apartment in Canada, I'm moving to Pittsburgh.     Ldye, can you get me an apartment there.   More opportunity than Canada.   Rob's being stingy and he doesn't seem like he wants to share the wealth.  

too bad lyquiddye is wworking. im looking thr ough the last weeks valley dispatch weekend guide planning how many karaoke places im going to visit this week. he might have been iinter ested in seeing some $600 mictrophones. bye pghpat

I find this interesting pghpat,  perhaps it's the heat getting to one of the remaining braincells in my soft head.  Yet, you joined KS four days ago.. Lyquidye hasn't posted in here since June 12th, Very doubtful you'd know "lyquidye" assuming you were a newbie in here, His actual KJ name isn't Lyquidye, that's a Karaoke scene SN..  nor (to my knowledge) in your valley entertainment section assuming Lyquidye is working, (based on reading something from the entertainment section for Pittsburgh) where you still have family, but no longer live... would be posted Monday night July 31st "lyquidye the KJ is working".  That's just the Karaoke Scene name of a person who happened to stop posting in here over a month prior to you ever showing up..  Alot of surprises tonight !!  Fascinating,  the Pittsburgh entertainment section says "Lyquidye is working tonight".. AND you are very new here.. Lyquidye hasn't been around since June 12th. Coincidently, you both show up here within 45 minutes of one-another,  and pghPat know's lyquidye's working in Pittsburgh, a location "she" no longer lives in.


OK.   This is a funny dream....  (rolling over)  Gosh,  wait until I tell the folks at KS about this wild dream I had tonight, it was getting interesting, and than I woke up, Some guy showed up, and yells,  "Ok, hands up, off the keyboard where I can see them !  Drop the Crap thread".. What could I do ?   I'm still sweating...

It was like I was Jessica Fletcher in "Karaoke she wrote",  I was typing a mystery about a fictitious story about a mystery regarding Bigdog, and..... Dang, all of a sudden this guy yell's "Another Crap story"..  Anyway,  Wait til I share this tomorrow in KS.... Nah, forget it...I'm going back to sleep <ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz>

Steven-  You are a genious.  Makes really good sense to me.  I couldn't wait to get up this morning and see what was uncovered through the night.  Think you are correct though.  Isn't it coincidental?  Bet Big Dog will agree.

The quest for "BIGDOG"  continues.

Of course Pghpat, first thing that stands out is your amazing sense of humor, What could be funnier than "He's working" ?  Somebody pry me off the floor, I'm about to swallow my tongue with copious laughter, gosh,  I can't catch my breath !!!..  Nice try   Lyquidye never stated his location during that post, although of course it IS in his location listing under his avatar, still, I doubt that caught your eye initially..  Hurry back though !  There'll be a bottomless empty void, where your obsessing once warmed the heart's of so many you crossed paths with, we laughed, we cried, but OH how we laughed !!

Actually, I've been checking out someone myself, who I thought was doing the same thing. But, the thought of being "wrong" wont let me say anything.  :oops:

What always gets me, and it's obvious in some cases.....

Is the purposeful way people mess up their typing and spelling, to make sure they look like a different person behind the keyboard.  I mean, *read the threads carefully*... that's all I'm saying. You'll see.

I've seen this done before. And it's a dead give away. You can misspell on purpose, but people have a certain "accent" haha, to their typing. Okay, okay, so not "accent", just their pattern of speach/type. And if you pay close enough attention, you can tell.  I could come in here and do the same, even make type-o's galore, and you'd figure me out, because of my style of talking.  :yes:

My opinion for what little it's worth:

Regardless of who anybody is or isn't, whether they post that they make over 6 digit's a year, state "they are the best in the world", that they use the best equipment there is, etc..Many might find it obnoxious, but it's still harmless chatter ! Whether they do something better than you (you generically meaning anyone), are a Karaoke God, Goddess, or in the cases of half the rooms I left because I wasn't a "Guitar God" some things are typed, but they are still non-threatening...People do have the option to ignore what they feel is obnoxious, or false online bravado, self promotion, arrogance, etc. Bottomline, is it'd be nice if we could all feel as though we are "the best there is", and channel energy at trying to be the best performer we can be...even if we need to use such a venue to act the part in fantasy.. It hurts nobody, and although it's clearly obnoxious to many, that's all it is.. It's still harmless...The objective however if it makes you feel better about you as a performer, whether fantasy or fiction, is that it's still positive in certain ways, assuming it instill's self-confidence. Id love to have that type confidence as an entertainer, It's just nice to know that there are people that still care enough to want to be "the best there is" that people still strive "To be a great entertainer"... In the case of some of you,  you obviously are great entertainers, and quite knowledgeable, that aside....

NOBODY should be subtly threatened, bullied, or feel "stalked" in any way, shape, or form; Be obsessively hounded, and told "I know where you are, and I'm going to find you this week IN REAL", that is going too far, especially when told "you can run, but you can't hide", even if no clearcut threat of action has been defined..It doesn't belong in here, or even in a PM...Especially when it's evident to all of us, that the person who's being hounded has asked PghPat to "backoff"..than PghPat ironically falls back on statements such as "I'm a vulnerable woman living alone". The intent to harass is obvious, and it's also intended to haunt a person in real life.  Fact is, the bulk of the member's in here enjoy going out, DO work at specific locations, and are professional entertainers either currently employed, or between jobs, or looking for work in real..  Many have in fact gotten to know one-another, met, and many have web-sites linked to their profile.. If the intent is to threaten a person's livelihood in any way, make them feel uncomfortable "in real life", it's wrong !

Some of us have very dry humor, it's harmless "type" that although can get under other's skin, should be separated from REAL LIFE... No KJ in here, entertainer in here, or ardent singer in here who somebody knows, or thinks they know in real should be hounded, and told repeatedly "I know where you work, and I'm going to come looking for you" by somebody who's goal is to bully them based on what's perceived as non-threatening bravado online; There's no need to threaten anybody at all in here, continuously laying into them regardless of how much of a "bigshot" you feel they think they are.. It's the intent that's wrong.. It doesn't matter if your info is accurate or not.. The intent of Pat has been to hound bigdog tenaciously. In my opinion whether this comes to fruition or not,  in this particular case, it appears as a form of stalking, if not, it's clearly without any doubt harassment, especially now with innuendo, direct threat of spilling into real life, "I'm going to find you this week, I'm taking off bye bye..." Whether Bigdog lives in Hoboken NJ, and pghjpat is looking to "find him" 600 miles from home really is immaterial, it's still a pain in the A&& to continually read in a room of adults, chatting with other ADULTS, and this sophomorish game, vengeance, bullying antic just doesn't belong here, the intent is just to badger another person directly. KS is supposed to be a friendly fun chat area where people exchange info and interact in a civil manner..  Nobody should be made to feel that somebody knows their work schedule,  hence they are a "sitting duck" EVEN when the person "looking for them" is way off...

In my opinion, certain things are clearly antagonistic, don't relate to karaoke, or singing related subject matter, additionally they help nobody in here, the substance in fact is to badger a particular individual, and after God know's how many obsessive posts targeting one particular person's real existence, it's time to stop...

JMO.. Not fact,  Just how I see stuff... This is all useless, and meant to bully.

Just about all I state is speculative, just a hunch, I have no facts to backup my own feelings. I bring it up, and now will let it go.. Certainly not obsess over it targeting anyone. I know for fact NOTHING about anyone in here, have no need to, I just believe or disbelieve what I see in type...Existences in real, are a whole different level of playing..

Michael,  How much hotter is it up here, than down where you are ?  It's going to be over 100 today on the big island.... 115+ heat index,  women are bringing their poodles and yorkies to special conditioned places as we speak.  This is dangerous, you know what it can do to a person's hair ?
