Dear Mommy, Saturday Night
It's 10 PM here EDT, 7 PM Western time... If I can stay out've Karaoke scene for about 4 more hours, I can make up a story tomorrow that I got lucky (with another person), had a date tonight, or even a gig...Hmmm... I think I can do it... I've been away for a few hours so-far, just a few more, and people might think it's possible for me to have a social life.... ..HEHEHE.....Damn, this is cool !
Your son,
Kappy

Stephen I stopped fooling myself years ago... what IS a social life? I thought it was just a rumour to make people feel bad.

This is good, It even makes *me* sound exciting !
I don't know Fiery, There's something more tranquil about not having a "social life" I suppose. Why bother meeting people anyway ? They always leave you eventually one way or the other. If they don't run off, or abandon you, they die. People are self-absorbed like that ! Why bother with the headaches in the firstplace :drunk:
hehe

Nah, I used to feel I had to "go out" weekends, it was wrong to be in. Just not "cool"... "Cool" people wouldn't be home on a weekend night... The younger social scene does have a way of getting you feeling that way. It's just an aspect of being single and younger... Nice things happened when I realized there's life after the bar scene.... In a way, some of these laws cracking down on bars, were actually a blessing in disquise IMO..... I lived and breathed bars..... Glad I overcame that. I'd love to see soft-drink venues such as Starbucks, B&N, Border's, or something stay open around here until at least 2AM *bar hours*.... Some way to get out, without alcohol...socialize with sober people.... CT closes early.

Incidently, Rod Serling was a brilliant writer. He really was a descendent of the Edgar-Allan Poe school of horror. "Night Gallery" has to be one of my favorite shows. Interesting thing about Rod Serling.. Didn't they freeze (Cryogenize) him..... Walt Disney as well ? They suspended his illness by cooling his body temp ? I never did understand how cryogenics worked... Something about lowering body temp to 60 degree's before death ?

Sort've what I like about sites such as this, in a way it's like "Cheers".... My "bar stool" here at the computer is always available, and there are reg's too... I just assume the role of Cliff Claven LOL
With computer interactive sites such as Paltalk, SS, coffee houses, there's plenty of stuff those of us into the art areas can do... But HOW the heck can we make money, with the dying of the smaller bars ? It's making money in music areas that's tougher than ever before now

They will find a way to create a need for them again.
Rod Serling is one of my favorite writers. 15 minutes of sci-fi or horror is all I can handle sometimes.

Contrary to popular notion, Walt Disney was not cryognetically frozen. He's buried in my back yard, so I have this on the best authority. And Steven, a thousand pejoratives for insisting on having a life! I'm just stymied by this whole turn of events on your behalf....

Umm... You folks will NEVER guess what I did last night ?
Michael and Jian.. I haven't forgotten, I really do want to sit and listen to some songs... It's been one of those super antsy periods for me.. Tough to even sit still..Just really hyper...I need to wind down abit... I'm waiting for the damn hamsters to tire from spinning on the wheel.. My apologies... Jian, I still have to figure out that .rar file.. There was nothing I was able to DL in that particular site... (I don't think)

Just like I said to Michael in private... I made the whole thing up, please make certain this doesn't make it to the KS bboards... What I say in PM's such as this, must remain private !
