Here's the latest news on Charmin's soon to be grandchild.  I just got this e-mail from her and she said I could post it. -------

"Well, I THOUGHT I was gonna give you a call late this afternoon or early evening. We spent the latter half the day back up at the hospital again.
Not quite a false alarm... none of them have been really. She's made progress each time she has went. She was in alot of pain starting last night, though not really major contractions, it was hurting her when she walked- alot. She called the doctor today and they told her to head up to the hospital. We did, and she was having strong  contractions every 7 minutes.... and again, that dumbarse hospital sent her home. They said she's progressing, and will for sure go in the next few days- but they felt she still had a ways to go before really hard labor set in. She's 4 days from her due date, so under the new circumstances, I'm surprised they didn't just induce her labor and keep her. They almost did, they were gonna induce her if she didn't do something by the morning. But they did an ultra sound, and just felt everything was fine. So- back home to wait some more.

She actually stayed the night at her mom's house in Colton, because Zachary got switched to night shift for this week. So, hopefully if labor starts up there, her mom will hurry and get her down the hill in time. Zachary was on pins and needles going into work tonight. He's hating to be away from her at all, but right now... she's a good 40 minutes from him.

Anyhow, I'll keep you updated. Surely this baby will come sooner or later!! Alot of people are agreeing that the full moon might do the trick. Oh, and tell your mom, her mother did the string and needle trick... and says it's to be a boy. hahaha.... I dunno about some of these old wives tales, but alot of them seem to be accurate. My grandma never missed a guess on a baby- not once.

STILL NO BABY AS OF THIS POST. Maybe she's kidding me, and there is no baby? Maybe my good ol' home cookin' just made her belly grow? Probably not, cause I hate cooking anyhow.  :(

Nah, it'll be tonight... the full moon will do it.

I wish there was a song like Disco Inferno we could sing to encourage her...Push baby push...Baby inferno....Naw..that's just not sounding right...perhaps we could encourage her with Baby's got her blue jeans on....

Still nothing...... though her doc appointment was today, and today IS her due date. ( I haven't heard from them yet since the appointment.... matter of fact, I'm gonna call his cell phone.... cause I'm getting antsy again)  :D I mean, it's the weekend, perfect time to be having a baby, right?

I'm starting to agree with Chuck that it's a girl. Only a girl can take this long to make up her mind what she wants to do.

Or, it's gonna be a headstrong little boy, who wants everything his own way.

I'm doomed to sprout a gray hair, one way or the other. (yuck... please pray I don't get any... for a long while yet) That would make me REALLY feel old.  :(

WEll, believe it or not, there is still no baby!  Charmin's computer is dead right now so I haven't received any up to the minute reports, so I'm not positive.  i may have to use that old fashioned telephone thing.
