I didn't say men were complicated   As a matter of fact I find that men are basically simple creatures with simple needs...now figuring out your thought processes is an entirely different matter.  You'll never know how many times I have been talking to or arguing with a guy and something shoots out of his mouth that leaves me staring with my mouth hanging open thinking...WTF?!    LMAO

Oh Dave, you may be asking way too much here.  About the only absolute I think I can apply to women is that I have finally gotten it through my head that I cannot try to use logic to solve any kind of issue with a woman.  I think they are born with a busted logic chip.

One of my favorite rules of life is: Never try to teach a pig to sing.  It's impossible and it annoys the pig.  If you change that to: Never use logic on a woman, it's impossible and it annoys the woman, life becomes much easier.

Women . . . I love 'em and they do have many good and admirable traits.  But logic ain't one of them.  LOL

Women want men to be intuitive. They say that we don't pick up on their subtleties. We are actually more receptive of their subtleties than they are of ours. :D

Hint to women, don't expect more than you can provide. LMAO

^ ignoring that comment  LMAO

It is raining like crazy here - so much thunder and lightning.
The funny thing is I have a guy coming today to install direct tv.
He'll have to attach the disc to the roof. He'll be a human lightning rod.

I figure this is on topic, He's a man and I'm a woman.

Now see, Larry this is what I'm talking about!  Because to a woman there is nothing more illogical than a man   Maybe it's just in our genetics that our minds work so differently I don't know...  LOL

Seems slow from where I'm at too.

Sinna, I do understand that women don't find men logical.  I just don't understand why.  And my head hurts from trying so I'm going to quit.

The only things that keep men from doing away with women completely is that you're cute, soft, smell good and, generally, you're really nice to come home to.   :D  Happily, when a guy wants to cuddle he invariably will find that a woman is just the right size and shape and if we're patient much is to be gained by hanging around with you.  If things go right, we're even willing to overlook the fact that, given the opportunity, you'll shamelessly exploit our genetic tendancy to want to protect you.  I have always suspected that you probably don't need protecting but you won't often admit that to us because it would decrease your advantage.  I would exclude my ex-wife from any of that.  Of course she crossed over to the dark side shortly after the wedding.

Larry

)))))))))))))))))))))))  That's me echoing Dave's sentiment.

As an aside, it has always bothered me that women are so willing to drive us men up a tree.  Wouldn't you expect that they would stop and think about the possbility that we might fall out of that tree and break something useful?

LOL

I think this is one of the reasons women outlive men. They want to. They need some time after we pass on. I think they call it down time. :D

If we could confine it to letting them think they've won it would be okay.  It makes me crazy to know they're right.

I don't know why but I think that we as men, enjoy the aggrivation of life with women. It's not just that we can't live without them.

That, along with doing EXACTLY what you tell them you're going to do, and having approval...and then catching hell for doing exactly that!  :grumble:

Ladies, if we're screwing up...please SAY SO!!  If you don't like it, don't say "Do whatever"...that sounds like you either approve or don't care...if you DO care...make it known!!

(ok...coming down from soap box)

I think the problem, Dave, it that it is much for satisfying for them to let us know what we did wrong after the fact, than it is to warn us before the fact.

And I'll bet people wonder why somebody coined the phrase, "Women . . . can't live with em . . . can't shoot 'em."  LMAO  LMAO  LMAO

And we're dumb enough to repeat that same mistake time after time.  If only they didn't make it so much fun between times. LOL
