I didn't know that Cookie was Babs' Avatar when I started following this thread. I thought "Babs' Cookie" was a euphemism for something else. Then there was all this talk about Isis' bunny being hot and furry. Well, I have to tell you, I got a little warm myself. LOL

I live in Kitchener in Southern Ontario... pretty close to the border. It is currently 32 degrees centigrade (with humidity it "feels" like 39) We have no AC so it's like an oven here

Lisa,
For the decimally challenged among us, what's that in Fahrenheit? It's 95 degrees F here in southeastern Wisconsin and the humidity has got to be just short of total saturation. Man, it is really uncomfortable.

we had the conversion discussion at work a while back cause it's a finnish company...
anyways, here are the conversion formulas:
Tc=5/9 x (TF-32) to get fahrenhiet (fahrentheit?)
Tf=(9/5 xTc) + 32 to get celcius
i ain't good at math so you figure it out.
just my two cents...that's it.
oh by the way it is about 102 outside here in texas!!!

Oh thanks, Rich! Give me a math problem on a Monday
I worked it out to just less than 90 degrees fahrenheit up there where Lisa lives but don't take my word for it.
I'm probably going to have to jump into this new fangled measuring thing one of these days but it'll be kicking and screaming. I like feet, inches, farhenheit, pounds and ounces and all the rest. I'm used to it dammit! LOL

okay here are easier conversions:
F-32 / 1.8 = C
C x 1.8 + 32 - F
sorry to disrupt your day, but i figured since i am having a heckuva monday, i'll share it....cause i'm just nice that way

Hey, you just give and give. More people should be like that. I'm sure that Isis, in her own inimitable way, appreciates that.
You know, I spent my whole life looking for Ms. Right. I never knew that once I found her, her first name would be "Always". Just my luck.

I beleive I am the one with the Red stappler...I got that as a parting gift the 2nd time I was laid off from Siemens......They may be able to get rid of me but they ain't getting my red stappler...
(On a side note...I had let my boss borrow "office space" the week before he laid me off...He had never seen it and I had made a reference to the red stappler....how ironic is that???)

It's like trying to breathe in pudding here in Chicago. I don't mind hot,
but this humidity is horrible.

Never lend your boss a copy of "Office Space". That movie is for disgruntled employee usage only.

We'll be in the low 100's this weekend. Atleast we won't have the humidity problem.
