Domestic animals can be funny, they develop human characteristics. They do things like learning to open doors, using the toilet, getting into the fridge etc. My friend's dog used to stare at her when she would take the brita filter out of the fridge, looking for fresh water. I think the freakiest pet video I have seen is this one....

Have any of you ever jumped into water from an elevation (or just sheer cliff) higher than 60 feet ? What would you say the highest dive into water you've ever made was ? (without parasailing type stuff, bungee stuff, etc... actual jumping from elevation into water) OK, I'll go first.... (about 7 feet... OH SHATTUP) LOL.. So I'm a wuss, sue me... I was over in the "you tube" site, watching some of these kids jumping and doing flips off've "red rock" and certain points that are VERY high... fascinating to watch. It's also amazing how many of these people that submit their clips grossly exaggerate the height's they are jumping from..

I would say about maybe 12 ft? It was from a high dive at the local pool... and it was scary as @#$%!! I was like 7 maybe? I'm a wuss too

I fell off a balcony drunk years back, luckily it was into hay or something relatively soft....probably about 9-10 feet.. Nice thing about being drunk, you're quite limber... but dang... Sober, and knowingly... I'd likely not even look off've something that elevation..hehe, I don't like heights at all.... Yep... I've stood on higher dive platforms.... They are scary at any age...IMHO... Never jumped off've them... I don't even think I was able to walk to the edge...or end of the board, or platform LOL ..perhaps 10-15 feet. That's high enough IMHO.... don't like being on narrow plank that high off the ground, especially when it's vibrating... and moving..and your idiot friends like to bully you by bouncing behind you creating more vibration...

This is one of the nicest things about being a batchelor, no woman around to (@$%!) at me when I spray furniture marking my territory with urine.... It's a guy thing...

My neighbor's SUV just had a fight with the covered parking last night. Somehow he backed up into the corner poll and broke it to pieces. The covered parking roof collapsed and crashed on to his SUV. He's alright but the back of the SUV is history. Crew was here today propping up the roof. What a show!

Chuck's truck blew up a couple of years ago. I will let him tell that story. The truly weird thing about it, to me, was when I saw the inferno in the driveway, I went in to wake him up and said, "Chuck, your truck's on fire" like I was saying good morning or something.

Yah, it caught fire in the driveway about 9 hours after I parked it.
It used to be a good lookin' truck.
The story is here, http://www.sapphiremoon.us/burnt_truck/
Anyone is welcome to read it.

Lisa ~
Please turn off the strobing signature picture. My epilepsy is starting to act up and I'm not sure how much longer I'll have health insurance!

I've read about Twister's over the Canadian border. Here's another strange one, the side of the rockie mountains too.... tearing up a path... They never thought that that was possible 20 years ago either. It was thought that a twister needed a flat area, or valley/plain to touch ground. I think Canada has even had a few since the 80's. I need to check that out. That is bizarre, especially considering the way the jetstream tavel's..

Actually, If you enter
KEYWORD search: "Tornado in Canada"
You'll notice it's NOT overly uncommon. Ontario had one less than a year ago..
I need to also check out how severe a "microburst" can be. Those can be deadly
