i've been in texas 20 years last month...it's taken this long to figure out that each highway has about 3 names!!!

for example, I30, which runs east and west, has several names depending where you are on the highway.  in arlington, it's the tom landry highway.  see.

then to compound the confusion you have the service roads, i mean, frontage roads, i mean, side roads...and they have different names, depending on which part of town you are in

and what the heck is a left exit from the fast lane?!! and a merge onto the left lane, which is the fast lane!!! (I35w south onto 820 east!!)  holy poo poo...

oh yeah, one more thing....the signs telling you to exit are after the exit!!!!

i'm moving back to my little town in new york....uggghhh

I think it sounds like something out of a bad sci-fi movie when they call them feeder roads.

Ever seen a dirt road with a street sign? Happens all the time in Texas!
