Chaves, the guy from Venezuela ordered them to stop selling gas. He's trying to hurt the American wallets. He wants the prices to rise on gasoline. An attempt to blackmail us. The gas prices will be going up from fear and speculation.

I guess Moped's are going to make a come-back.
I liked that little E-scooter I was given, but I put on weight, and now the damn chain keeps falling off
Around here people are quite foolish. Lazy &%*^'s. They can walk next door 200 yards to buy a newspaper, or drive to the same location (round about) which is 4 blocks... They are too dam-ed lazy to walk... It's absurd... I have a couple of highend bicycles. Mountain bike, and road bike... If it's a matter of a few miles, I jog it, or ride a bike.... It's not only healthy, but people are unnecessarily wasteful. Alot of the money they blow given the high gas prices, they could save by a simple walk...Perhaps even add a few years onto their life...

I wsokr over 30 miles from home. I am not walking; sorry Kappy. However, I drive an 11-year-old Hyundai Accent that gets about 34 mpg in stop and go traffic. When gas prices go up I do not scare as easily as some other people. :dancin:

He did a good job too, except nothing is fun in a stick shift in Dallas traffic at rush hour except getting the hell outta there and getting HOME.

Excepting stop and go traffic, I used to just stay in 2nd gear most of the time.
EDIT: This didn't help much but it left me with a free hand to adjust the mirror so I could stare at myself.

Don't worry too much about Citgo. It may be owned by the Venezuelan government but it's a U.S. based company and it's income is derived primarily from U.S. sales. If they stop selling gas, Venezuela suffers.
Chavez may be a jerk and may hate the U.S. but he's smart enough to understand economics and politics.
Besides, this rumor has gone around periodically for quite a long time. Check it out on www.snopes.com. And don't believe everything (maybe anything) you hear on the internet.

Oh, oh! A new reality TV show with Robertson and Castro. That's just what we need. I see the potential for a new sort of zealot. A cigar chomping, rum swilling, born-again Marxist who conducts a daily conversation with God.
I can just see the televised appeal for funds; "God told me that if I don't raise $6 million by sundown, he wants me to invade Miami."
By the way, did you hear that Oral Roberts and Pat Robertson tried to market a CD? It failed because the hold in the middle kept healing shut.

Larry ...haven't heard that yet.
Why did I not see the obvious marketability of Castro and Robertson as the odd couple. I guess I should convert back the old ways of my family's beliefs in order to get this one to the producers.
...am I too old to be bar mitzvahed?

My Methodist ancestors say no, it would be okay. But last time I checked the local Rabbi wasn't paying too much attention to those religious "johnny-come-latelys" so don't pay any attention to me.
You might be too old for the bris though.

I have no idea what the answer is. I love puns. Puns are fun. Fun, fun, fun.
Next week I will be on the G's book and four letters per word.

Please don't get me started. Punning is an illness with no known cure. Punism can ravage an otherwise fully functioning brain. I beg of you . . . don't let me do this!
Oh, the humanity.

Ok, I will stop the madness, I hope.
Can the theme to the Odd Coupld from the TV show be done with a salsa rythm line?
